Rust Never Sleeps (1979)
My heart needs protection and so do i
wow, not only are the songs absolutely incredible but the imagery and loose end style is phenomenal. This movie is not just a rock film, its like an intense time warp journey through space. From the little sand people to the stage announcements, everything fits perfectly. This is the complete F***ing opposite of a washed up rock star. Neil delivers the smartest and most visually breathtaking performance of the decade. He makes every song interesting with Jamaican accents, giant amps, Rust-O-Vision goggles and characters that come seemingly from nowhere and depart into the recesses of the strange twenty foot tall amplifiers This film will blow your mind and leave you a changed person 100/100
Dreamcatcher (2003)
great book
First off, Stephen King is a genius story teller. The book was absolutely incredible, probably the best book i've ever read. The first twenty or so minutes of this film were very entertaining but from then on, it went downhill very fast This movie could have been made a lot better. if Kubrick was alive, i think he would have done a really good job, unfortunately he's not. :(
Anyway, the conclusion is that it was interesting, especially in the beginning, but it could have had a much better script, better acting and it also could have been more accurate to the book.
4/10
Misery (1990)
horrifying thriller
7.7? i give it 10 this is one of the sickest and and most interesting films i've had the pleasure to watch. Annie Wilkes must be one of the best thought out, deranged characters ever concocted by a writer and the actor who plays her is just fantastic. I saw the trailer and could only think: "I have to see this", i did and there was no disappointment whatsoever. I love the scene where she breaks his legs, that made me twitch and my friends turned away. I also love the scene where the police officers are investigating in the snow and the camera moves to a car going by and its Annie smiling. She's ****ing crazy. Great film. Buy or rent
Dead Silence (2007)
Donkey turd left in the sun
Someone from my camp told me to rent "Dead Silence" about two months ago. I did with three friends and we watched it the whole way through, trying to keep quiet and expecting a fun watch. The credits at the start got me pumped up; they were very interesting and entertaining. After that though, bad acting/terrible script/dolls slowly moving their eyes, only made us laugh. Christ, I loved Saw 1. It was great and I'll definitely watch the second and third films. This though... We were expecting a half decent ending... something to tie up the film in some way. What came must have been the worst ending twist ever produced. Not only was it utterly stupid but completely pointless and just added trash to the heaping pile. 2/10 stars. Stick with Saw
