CSI: NY: Child's Play (2007)
Very funny
I'm not much of one for writing reviews, nor am I a huge CSI fan, but the writing and acting for this episode were so freaking bad that it was making my mom and me giggle. Without spoiling too much, none of the main characters use any of their brain cells in this episode and are continuously surprised when the worst happens.
A repeated theme in this episode is that poorly acted characters, who behave like aliens trying to assimilate into human culture, make dumb decisions.
I really enjoyed it and found it really funny to watch, but I also can't help but think that the writers need to start proofreading scripts and plot ideas.
That, or maybe they should go outside and interact with actual humans to see how humans work because plots involving gruesome shootings and dead children shouldn't be making people laugh.
Roundhay Garden Scene (1888)
Best Movie of All Time?
This by far is the best movie I have ever seen. The cinematography! The acting! The soundtrack! Never before have I seen such a perfect film and I'm surprised this hasn't cracked the top 250 on this website.
Some may argue that the movie drags on for a little too long but I think the pacing is perfect and gives you time to digest what you are viewing.
I would argue that this movie may be the best film ever made. I think filmmakers certainly have their work cut out for them if they ever want to make a movie that isn't absolutely overshadowed by this classic. Every movie since has been a downgrade to Roundhay Garden Scene.
