Fugitive: The Curious Case of Carlos Ghosn (2022)
Good Documentary
Good Documentary, it shows that the power ruins you. He definitely had talent, but as its said. Its easy to get the status but hardest to maintain it. He did many mistakes which were ethically incorrect, but there was no major reason to jail him. I had quite high thoughts of Japan and its judicial system but now I am skeptical.

Shastry Viruddh Shastry (2023)
Could be quite good
It's a very good story, narrative, the first two-thirds of it are really good, the story developed well, but it didn't pack the punch that it had the potential for. A lot of things were unrealistic, like the father and son having a case against each other, yet sitting together and eating. The ending was also weird, very strange. Also, why couldn't they all stay together? They never convinced guruji to come with them, there are a lot of unexplainable things in the story. But the acting was good, by a lot of actors, Paresh Rawal was brilliant as always. The movie made me cry at one point, but again, it had a lot of potential and could have been much much better. Sad it didn't end the way or carry the potential it had till the end.
Lover Stalker Killer (2024)
Unbelieveable
I felt very saddened for Cari who has passed away; it was deeply distressing to see an innocent life being lost. This world is a place of sorrows, and this entire story caused great anguish. However, the work that the police did, I mean the way they did it, man, huge huge respect. I mean, they are real-life heroes, they should receive the highest civilian honors. Look at the person who ignored his tumor for the sake of this case, and how they worked day and night to solve it. On the other hand, it's hard to decide whether to cry or be happy about Liz's sentence, what her psychological state was like, I mean, can someone really do that? Very strange. Love and jealousy can make a person do anything. All in all, it was beautifully directed, beautifully produced, all the crew behind it deserve utmost respect. Man, this was huge. Learnt a lot from it..
The Lost City (2022)
Mediocre
When I first saw Daniel Radcliffe on screen and glimpsed the intriguing setting he found himself in, I was filled with anticipation. The movie seemed poised to deliver an engaging story. Unfortunately, it devolved into a hodgepodge of poor writing and illogical drama. One glaring inconsistency was the portrayal of a billionaire riding in a makeshift ambulance, being chased down by an unarmed, average individual. Even more baffling was that this supposed billionaire had only a single gun for protection, undermining the sense of danger and urgency.
The romantic subplot felt forced and uninspired, detracting from the film's overall impact. One of the most perplexing moments involved the lead actress inexplicably turning down an incredible opportunity to recover a lost, valuable item. This choice not only lacked motive but also severed any connection I had with her character.
Lastly, the film was rife with numerous smaller loopholes that were hard to overlook. For instance, a character struggled to open a simple plastic clip while, oddly enough, carrying a chair throughout a chase scene. These issues collectively shattered my suspension of disbelief, leaving me to lament what could have been a much more compelling cinematic experience.
Adhura (2023)
Mixed feelings
The film offers an engaging narrative but is not without its flaws and frustrations, particularly surrounding its portrayal of certain themes. The incorporation of the LGBT agenda, which appears to be omnipresent, has become a point of frustration and is overemphasized or inauthentic. Additionally, there are numerous plot inconsistencies and lapses in logic that detract from the overall experience. For instance, characters who are choked or haunted by supernatural forces seem to recover or react with an unrealistic lack of concern. This lack of response extends to other areas of the plot, such as parents' inexplicable absence from their children's lives despite alarming events, or the noticeably sparse student population within the school setting. Despite these criticisms, there are commendable aspects to acknowledge, such as the skillful performances of the young actors and some well-executed plot points. However, the overall predictability of the story and the contentious handling of the LGBT theme are dissatisfied.
The Out-Laws (2023)
Decent Story but horrible humor
The movie is a decent comedy, but the language and humor used are absolutely horrific. The entire focus revolves around dirty jokes and inappropriate content. Nowadays, comedy has lost its decency, and it feels like the industry is controlled by unscrupulous individuals. However, if we remove these dirty jokes, the movie's story is actually quite decent. Despite the excessive criticism towards the main character, I believe he portrayed his role admirably by acting in a silly manner. The direction of the movie was also commendable. Nowadays, the standards are so high that it's challenging to receive high-star reviews due to intense competition. Some people who rate it lower may be taking the movie too seriously, when its sole purpose was to be funny and absurd. Overall, the movie deserves credit for a job well done, but the excessive use of dirty humor prevents me from giving it a higher rating than 5.
