He/they don't even get another dog? That makes no sense. None at all. Enzo was taken everywhere with him so there's no way if he did get a new dog that it would not be with them at the race track. Adopt don't shop..... Otherwise there are some interesting things to be learned in this quaint film. One of the better things to watch on TV these days: May 2020
