Don't waste your time… or life
31 December 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Sure, remakes can be good, don't get me wrong. Here is a problem with this one… everything. The story, the characters, the director… everything about the film was atrocious. Rob Zombie was the chosen director by remake kings Bob and Harvey Weinstein, the most worthless people on this earth. Rob Zombie is known for his violence, his cussing (look at his music), being hippie (everyone had long hair, even he does), etc. He made the family trailer trash with the *f* bomb in every sentence, making us feel sorry for a killer. The original made you feel a sense of creepy, unknowing why that this person killed his sister, not wanting to feel sorry for the killer… which is the main point. The killer is supposed to be someone you want to die. We get to the original part of the film, with the remake. What do you know… he messed it up! Zombie didn't even develop the characters any bit, you wanted them all to die. Sure, Annie Bracket, Lynda van der klok, and Laurie Strode. Laurie Strode was an idiot. She didn't know anything and she was a dunce. What can you say… that is Rob Zombie? And wow! Dr. Sam Loomis, the psychiatrist of Michael Myers, was awful as well. You hated him too because he was just living off the story of Michael Myers. He didn't even care about anything else.

I don't care what you think about the movie. I think if you're going to remake something… remake something that was a awful movie. Don't remake movies that were a cult classic that were best of time. Find movies that had promise of its times (in this case, the late 1970s) and make it better. We never heard if John Carpenter actually saw the film. I'm guessing he didn't and don't blame him. Another movie he made was remade and done terribly. This movie doesn't even deserve a one. A ZERO!! ZERO!!

The Definition of Drama
18 March 2008
There are many shows that are known for some sort of drama. For example, for the genre SCI-FI is Stargate: SGI or even STAR TREK. For the Drama area would be Law & Order. Lined up through drama from the 27th precinct to the court-room and the DA'S office, it is everywhere. The show is designed in a specific design. The first half of the show focuses on the police of, now in its eighteenth season, has Detective Ed Green and Detective Curtis Lupo under Lieutenant Van Buren. The second half deals with the DA'S office which, now in its eighteenth season, has ADA Cutter with ADA Rubirosa under DA McCoy, who originally since season five was the ADA. All the drama for anything comes from this show. This is the show to look up to, with all the success and popularity it has had everywhere. It is the most known Crime-Drama show ever and currently the most long-running show on television.

U2 3D (2007)

Speechless...
25 February 2008
When I saw previews for "U2 3D", I thought it would be a normal type concert movie, only in 3D. The problem is, though, I was wrong. I saw it Saturday night at a 3-D theater and was just impressed what I saw, what all the effects were. I saw U2 Rattle and Hum and was good, but this was way better. I thought that the way that U2 3D was made and all of the 3-D effects that there were, it was the best. Now the question will be, "will it come out on DVD?" Hopefully, because I would just love to own a piece of history. For you who haven't seen it, see it now. See it because if they do decide to not put it on DVD, you will miss out on a great piece of history. Even though I'm a U2 fan and even if you aren't, you will for certain enjoy it. Who knows, maybe your favorite band will make a 3-D concert film at a point.

A Worthwhile Series
21 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I'm one of these people who are a huge fan for these shows on Television that has to do with Criminals and intelligent Police Cops. This is one of those shows, seeing the Ciminal Intent of why they killed the person they killed. Seeing a genius Detective like Detective Robert Goren, based on Sherlock Holmes, and partner Detective Alex Emes. I always enjoy how Detective Goren knows everything. Like how tall a person was by sitting in a car with the front window sat at. Or outsmarting someone by pretending to be on their side. That is how Goren is. Now, by a tougher and doesn't take any side or any excuses from anyone, that is Detective Emes. Just give this show a "side-ways look" and watch it. It is a Worthwhile Series.

Tin Man (2007)

A Re-image that is worth seeing.
10 December 2007
Now as everyone knows, everyone is remaking everything like crazy. Like the terrible remake of the instant horror classic "HALLOWEEN." "THE OMEN," "DAWN OF THE DEAD," "THE Texas CHAINSAW MASSACRE," get the picture. But this one is "a must see." The way it was made, very intelligently. A girl by the name of DG gets into a tornado that takes her to O.Z. (aka the OUTER ZONE). She meets friends on the way, one without a heart, one without knowledge and one without courage, just like the original, who all have some grudge on the new queen AZKADELLA. The place where they made it, the events that are in it, all of these factors are inside this and was made for success. THis is considered one of a few remake, Re-imagining of a classic. Sure The Wizard of Oz (movie) and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (book), will be classics, but this one will be looked at for a good re-imagining. Considered like "THE THING," remake because of the success and greatness it had. All this did was get me lost in the action and had so much fun watching it. Want to feel like a kid again? Then watch a success. I can't wait until it gets on DVD, because I'll watch it.

Halloween...My Favorite
8 September 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Halloween became the biggest Slasher/Horror film of all time. Not only did it become one of the best, the most known Horror Film. A little kid by the name of Michael Audry Myers kills his sister on October 31, 1963, a kid that was explained to "'Purely and Simply...Evil!" Later he escaped his Sanitarium and suddenly is on the loose. A chase between Myers and Dr. Loomis. Later he stalks a girl named Laurie Strode all over the place (which in the sequel Halloween II, they are family: related to each other). Starts stalking his friends and kills them. Later he gets to Laurie and Michael is trying to kill Laurie. Dr. Loomis saw kids running from this house. Gets in there, sees Michael, and shoots him six times. It has such a surprise ending, that I'm not saying what it is, besides I said too much. But I'll tell you this, if you haven't seen this movie, see it. See it before you EVEN think about seeing the remake. See it before you see the sequel. See it before you see Freddy Vs. Jason. Just see it and see how John Carpenter made a fantastic Horror film.
