Where Were You (2022)
Emotionally suspenseful and rewatchable
There is nothing more horrifying than finding out that your best friend has been missing from a disturbing incident that could haunt you for years.
The entire film had so much going on it actually made the made the dark and gritty climax in some ways a relief. It felt like everything has been lifted up from your chest. Towards the end and knowing the "truth", you begin questing yourself as an audience member what the real truth was, or was there anything to discover in the first place? Especially if you've paid close attention during Harrison's documentary shoot.
I thought 'Where Were You' was insanely suspenseful and thrilling with it's twists and turns. Reminded me of films like 'The Sixth Sense' or 'Fight Club'. You kind of have to go back and watch it again. 8/10.
