Facing transience of the impermanence characteristic of nature
The main actresses portray very well the typical character and behavioral patterns of young people of different nationalities.
This is not a love story, but rather reaches higher, to the service of man to man in his search for freedom and meaning. That's how nature works too, the dying supports (new) life. Nature sustain life. The film is therefore a very realistic representation of the impermanence characteristic of nature.
The film does a good job of showing that even young people need help, which they don't always find in this world.
Caught in the grip of family depression, Tina hopes and clings to life, while Iben painfully learns the reality of transience. They both face transience, with the difference that Tina is hopeful because she has time, and Iben time is not her friend.
