Truly amazing movie
21 June 2008
Wow. That is really all I could say about this movie because, for me, it was amazing. Emraan Hashmi took the character to a whole other level and just performed it flawlessly. I really couldn't think of a better actor to play the part. Ashutosh Rana was also great in the film and came off as intimidating and caring at the same time. Shreya Saran looked gorgeous and was perfect for her role. Everyone else in the film was also very good, but it will take me forever to praise each one individually.

So, after seeing this movie, it puzzled me immensely to see that this film was nominated for hardly ANYTHING! Where was the best actor award for Emraan Hashmi? Where were any nominations for the amazing and heartfelt music and lyrics? What makes me really mad about the whole situation is that this movie was so much better than Om Shanti Om, but this movie couldn't be nominated for anything because SRK wasn't in it. And trust me, the Awarapan songs are much better than the Guru songs, so I really don't see what the jury was smoking when nomination time rolled around.

Now that I've vented, please see this movie because it is one of the greatest pieces of cinema you will watch.

a really funny movie!

I was really excited when I heard about Deewane Huye Paagal because it is the sequel to Awara Paagal Deewana, which is one of my favorite comedies, so I couldn't wait to see it. And I'll tell you that when I did, I thought it was hilarious!! The story is nicely developed, and even though there are a lot of characters, somehow, the plot never becomes confusing.

Performances, out of all the actors, were very good! Akshay Kumar is great, once again, and you find yourself laughing out loud at the way he acts and his dialogues! Shahid Kapoor plays the character of a very shy and innocent guy well, and he's easy to root for in the movie. I can't say anything specifically about Rimi Sen except that she was good. Sunil Shetty proves that he can do comedy. I loved his character and all of his dialogues. And last but not least, one of the funniest actors around, Paresh Rawal, is wonderful once again! Awara Paagal Deewana and Deewane Huye Paagal-both very fun comedies!

Fool N Final (2007)

a waste of time
17 August 2007
When I heard about the movie Fool 'N' Final, I thought it would be a complete comedy, but it turned out to be the complete opposite.

PROBLEMS

1. way too many characters (and it really bothered me the way they put Sameera Reddy in the movie just for eye candy. my mom could have done her role, and she doesn't even speak Hindi)

2. too many plots, and a lot of pointless scenes

3. NOT FUNNY!

The cast of this movie, you could say, are all pretty good actors. I really wish they hadn't wasted their time with this movie AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME EITHER!
