Imaginary (2024)
Great Film To Lull You Into a Deep Sleep!!
To go and see this film today as a last minute choosing, with my boyfriend, (our proper real date) and we both were hoping for something really good and spooky, especially as it was made by BlumHouse, who have made some outstanding movies recently and in the past. Unfortunately this movie fell completely flat!!! Flatter than an ironing board, or a piece of wet soggy cardboard that you'd find in the gutter somewhere!!! I actually even fell asleep for the majority of the whole entie film on his shoulder and more than likely drooled all over him!!! Poor guy!! Like OMG how bloody embarrassing 🙈🙈🙈 The ONLY good part of this movie was spending time with him. We both actually wished we went to see the Peppa Pig Movie instead to be honest! Least that get some laughs. So no unfortunately I don't recommend this film unless your after a strange sort of lullaby to help you drift off to sleep. Not even worth 1 star, more like minus 1000 stars. Nope Noperty Nope!! Stick to Peppa or Bluey, far more entertaining than this drivel!!
Frágiles (2005)
Amazingly Creepy and Stays with You
I loved this film! It's honestly a beautiful but frightening masterpiece. It's filmed in the Isle Of Wight too which was a big bonus for me, having holidayed there pretty much all my life. The atmosphere is definitely creepy and makes you feel uneasy especially when they travel up to the second floor! God that made me feel full of dread! Please ignore the subpar reviews and give this movie a shot. It's 100% one of the scariest films I've seen. The ending is so sad, and the actress that played Maggie was so beautiful and a very talented little girl. The lead actress was just so wonderful too, you could tell she really cared about all the children, and the relationship she built with Maggie was just wonderful. This film easily fits into my top 10 scariest films, even my son who I watched it with sat through the whole thing without getting board. Great film, I loved it.
Heck (2020)
Scary, unnerving and downright terrifying
I didn't like this film. That's not because I didn't LIKE it but because it scared the hell out of me. You see the film from the perspective of the little boy unlike a "normal" type film. The atmosphere and pictures are artistic and outstanding. I felt so uneasy and a little nauseous watching this. It's truly heartbreaking.
As a mother the thought of any of my children go through what this little boy did/has makes me feel sick to my stomach and upsets me deeply.
I don't think I'm quite ready for the film Skinamarink- from the same writer. I've heard from others that Heck is definitely a lot more frightening and fills you will indescribable dread, but when I feel "ready" I'll 100% give it a go
A solid 10/10 from me. It won't be to everyone's taste, but it's definitely worth a watch - I'm now going to go and watch a light hearted comedy...... I need a drink.
