Identity (2003)
It was a dark, stormy night....

Identity is an awesome movie! It's a very well-written, well-acted (John Cusack is especially good) psychological thriller with numerous twists and turns. It may not be what you're expecting from the previews, but that's what makes it so good.

It rules!

I was surprised to see that the overall voting average for PD was in the 6 range, as so many people I know enjoyed it as much as I did. Anne Hathaway plays the role perfectly, making the awkward Mia extremely likable, as the heroine always should be. Julie Andrews shines like a true royal. The entire supporting cast adds something special to the film. It's quality family fun, and destined to be another Disney classic! 9/10 stars!

Wait to rent it

I wasn't expecting too much with this movie, but I was expecting more than what I got. Watching this, I couldn't help but think "I've seen this so many times before." Josh Hartnett (who did pretty good with what he was given), plays a heart-broken guy who swears off ALL forms of sex for Lent in order to gain a better perspective on life. Shannyn Sossaman plays his love interest, which makes his vow of celibacy all the more tougher to handle. Can he do it??? Does it matter??? This movie was predictable and unfunny. The secondary characters are nothing more than annoying "American Pie" rejects, the character of Erica is in SERIOUS need of a hair wash and comb, and, well, it's just not very funny.
