Ghoomer (2023)

Fantastic
20 August 2023
Watching movies in theatre is not my area of interest....so if I decide to invest my 3 hours in a cinema hall, the movie has to be a very special one.

GHOOMER trailer was eye catchy and being a cricket fanatic who is huge admirer of Abhishek Bachchan and R Balki, I was quiet excited and this afternoon with kids and my parents we watched in a packed theatre.

One word "OUTSTANDING" Saiyami Kher is brilliant and so are the other cast members. The background music, lyrics, dialogues spot on.

ABHISHEK BACHCHAN you beauty, Flawless performance 👏. You are the magic of this movie, much deserved appreciation and congratulations for this fantastic work. So proud of you 😇.

Thank You R Balki for this beautiful, inspiring sports movie.

It makes you laugh, cry, excited and applaud.

Exceeded the expectations!!
12 March 2023
From where to start....it was during lockdown period where with my better half, we were binging on Korean dramas. And this happened by accident, it was my husband who suggested this drama.

We watched it with no expectations, the synopsis and cast was different hence we were curious.

And what a show this turned out to be.....absolutely brilliant and hard hitting one.

Revolving round the office colleagues, peer pressure, competition, politics, law of attraction....it sums up everything that a professional goes through in his/her career. Lee Sung Min has been a show stealer and so is the rest of the cast.

Just close your eyes and watch this brilliant drama.

Summer Strike (2022)

Adorable series
12 March 2023
Life is simple, we humans make it complicated. We are all running in rat race and at one point we all chase peace and calmness. Everything else seems irrelevant....this is exactly what SUMMER STRIKE is all about.

I found the series, characters extremely calm, a simple story which is so relatable and those cute kids, a pet dog makes it more adorable. The main Lead was a protagonist in Misaeng, another not to miss series. I was looking for his other dramas and then finally got to watch this one.

Definitely a worthy watching....12 episodes series available in Netflix. No reason to miss on this one.

Hide and seek of Life and Love
3 March 2023
Nobody forgets First Love.....it is an experience which we all encounter once in our life and irrespective of what's the outcome...we will never forget it!!

This journey is about Hae and Harimuchi.....how they met, fell in love, parted away, then Life as usual played hide and seek, they met again.....I will not pen further spoilers!!!

It is not a K drama, it is a J drama and how beautiful this drama is, you need to see and feel each character. Parallel love stories of different generations, scenic backgrounds, deep story line, gorgeous Male and female leads and at the end warmth of pure love.

Just go ahead and watch it ...9 episodes with English Audio in Netflix.

Diary of a Prosecutor (2019–2020)

Warm and suttle plot.
18 February 2023
Overwhelmed with sad ends, slow pace, boring story lines. I guess we all were struggling to watch something new, interesting and when I was about to go on hiatus from Kdrama, I came across Lee Sun Kyun, he is the iconic Ajjushi of My Mister new drama and couldn't stop myself from watching Diary of a Prosecutor and this was a complete knock out, there are no main leads, it is a story of team of Prosecutors and their clients. Each character is unique and how they blend into each other.

The existence of dirty office politics and also reflects team effort and love for each other. Those small small things that makes our hearts melts......this one is definitely recommended.

An excellent drama!!

Sweet and Bitter taste of life
11 February 2023
Chocolate- if I don't recommend this drama, it will an injustice for all the die hard K drama fans. I will never ever get over this drama, have already watched it thrice and will rewatch in later years of my life.

This is an extremely underrated drama and haven't got its due which is quiet disappointing.

A flawless romantic drama with an excellent OST, moments of love, emotions and ur heart acing...you can't miss on this!

And how can I not write about the leads, they are excessively charming, they are magnetic and magical. I had a huge crush on the ML. Supporting cast was equivalently good.

Our Blues (2022)

Journey of Life
11 February 2023
When you laugh, cry, smile, relate on how life evolves with the people around us.....when you feel about depression hitting hard, past effecting present and shaping one's future. Lost love found and standing up for your love when it requires the most.

A tale between lovers of different cycles of life, sweet & bitter relationships between friends, parents and kids. The surprise hidden secrets of few and as a society we need to learn to accept them.

This is "Our Blues" for you my folks....one can't get over the casting, intermingling of different stories with the characters and silver lining is of Jimin's OST.

Go ahead and experience this beautiful journey.

Difficult chasing of Love
11 February 2023
"The Interest of Love" is not for everyone, definitely not for the ones who believe in fast forward love stories.

It is for us... the hopeless romantics, we don't love simple fun loving love life, it has to be complex, confusing, intriguing where you introspect yourself.

I could totally relate with each and every character.....the beauty of this drama is the pace. It is slow, there is no hurry to jump on to any conclusion, there is entry & exit of emotions, the feeling of disappearing and destroying...these are real notions, this is life!!

Patiently waited each week to upload the new episodes, was excited to see what unfolds!!

And yes, the main lead Yoo Yeon Seok he never disappoints. His suttleness is the key to his success.

So if you have patience and the understanding of difficult love....then don't miss this drama.
