Stay away
29 August 2005
Seeing how I can't receive the Barney show here, thus only knowing it's reputation trough the various spoofs (Simpsons, etc.), I guess it wouldn't hurt to watch along as my 8 year old sister was looking at it when it aired on TV. I was wrong. I'm a Jurassic Park enthusiast, and even though I dislike JP///, this piece of crap was even worse! (And trust me, I've seen various bad movies, including the dreaded "Raptor", so I know a bad dinosaur flick when I see it). What made this movie worse (despite the appearance of the big purple thing itself) are the songs, the plot holes and Trevor Morgan. Seeing him explained a lot of things. He was in JP/// and so was Barney...

Overall, if my comments made sense, you should stay away from this piece of crap, unless your life depended on it.

Great Saturday Morning Entertainment
25 February 2005
Unlike the comment I just read, I think Dick and Dom is a great show. During it's two-hour span, it covers a wide variety of entertainment, including some traditional things, like the Prize Idiot's appearance, or the Cat's weekly film, where he discovers the "pittoresque places" of the UK. The show provides high-quality, low-brain fun. Off course, you don't have to expect something with a message in it, cause it's a no-brainer. Dick and Dom now have years of experience and that shows with the improving quality of every season. Personally, I do find some things annoying (mostly BB3B, the cartoon that is showed this season) but it's made up for by the many colorful visitors of the Bungalow (Personal favorite: the Cat) Off course, this is only my opinion, but I advise everyone to take two hours of their Saturday morning to watch this show. It's anarchistic, sometimes rude, it's gross (snot and creamy muck muck-covered guests anyone?) but it's mostly great fun!

Humo's Pop Poll avond 2002 (2002 TV Movie)
10/10
Great show
6 April 2004
Humo's Pop Poll is a yearly event, where the nation's favourite magazine, Humo, awards the best and worst of that year. It is definately worth while checking it out every year, as there are loads of live performances, lots of humour and off course Guy Mortier himself. He's the (retired) editor of Humo, leading the show into the spectacle the audience sees. Off course, there isn't a lot to be said about it when you don't live in Belgium. Besides, Canvas crams it into a one-hour show on TV, tough the real thing lasts for about 5 hours. I went to the last two shows myself, and they're a lot better. But still, I take the time to watch the show every year on tv. I even record it so I can watch it over and over again. Humo's Pop Poll deserves a 10/10!

Ed, Edd n Eddy (1999–2008)
Just plain fun!
14 March 2004
Okay, Ed, Edd n' Eddy might not seem like a good show when you first see it. You have to get used to the characters to appreciate it. When you're passed that, the show provides great entertainment for everyone! The characters are well-developed, and almost nver bore you! Some of the humour may not appeal to everyone, but we can't like everything! I watch the show whenever I can, and I never get bored of it! And come on, it's a kids show! Many people are bashing it but those people aren't the Eds target audience! And okay, the way everything is drawn isn't the best you can find.... but it matches the stories and characters! Ed, Edd n' Eddy is one of my favourite shows! 4.5 stars out of 5. (It loses half a star because there are so little episodes and so many re-runs!)
