One of the most weird tv series I ve seen in a long time. The concept is brilliant, the execution is not. The country where the story occurs is never really believable, is a cardboard random eastern european country, with unknown borders, history, language, the name of the ruling family sound very british, here and there we hear some slavic and germanic names, the background is very bad worldbuilding to say the least. But, overall, above all this disaster, is Kate Winslet who literally robbs every scene she performed on , she is an incredible and amazing actress even when the material she has to work with is mediocre. This series will be forgotten very soon, but Kate Winslet shines here. As allways does.

A great approach to sensibility and tenderness

Great season finale and probably series finale episode too. This episode crowns fittingly the series with the study of why all us need second chances, rebirth and hope in every aspect of our life. Belgravia Next chapter wasnt brilliant, yes, but it is a precious period drama in a romantic vein so needed nowadays. Touching, and very well acted. There are some dead alleys unresolved in the plot but this is how life is like, some things come to and end, others we dont know.. . The heart of everyone who follow this series from start to finish wil be enriched, with feelings of forgiveness, love overcoming failures and changing circunstances. Like life itself is.
Yup, this is miles away from True Detective.

True Detective.is not, I repeat, is not nordic noir. So from that premise on the series is going nuts for me. The atmosphere in Season 1 was the interior darkness of two men tortured by hopelessness, life angst and for being faced with a manifestation of pure evil. The script were solid as rock because the history flew so naturally like the stream of blood from a knife in a man neck. The following tv series never achieved this level of perfection , not even close, not even the thirth season that wasnt a bad one but felt so for trom the original concept of Season 1. This is just the first episode but I feel we are not in True Detective territory anymore. Sorry, I think the first season put the bar so high that we will never see something remotely close to it.

It is supposed the detective has some special abilities or something like that. Those abilities dont show of in the series, and when something arose by the sort they are just average reasoning that whoever person could achieve. The characters are flat and unidimensional, and the story is a kind of whodunit by the numbers. The jewish spiritual background, that it is supposed be an important part of the profile of the detective, is flat and not well explained, in fact adding to the confusion of this "drama"l. I cant understand the 10 in 10 reviews, the series lack any special charm like Broadchurch or The Missing. I really wanted to like this show, but it is an one time look and easyly forget about.

The argument is childish and unreal in the worst sense. The acting is no bad and the dialogues are SOOOOOO LONG. Very basic plot, some kind of Mission Impossible from the Pampas of sorts. I want to find out why so many people gave this movie 8, 9 and 10 s so generously when obviously is a very mediocre movie. All that happen in the movie is very hard to swallow, because we have to suspend reasoning in so many ways and , I truly say, I have seen a lot of cartoons with much more sense than this movie. I cant believe I saw this movie . Some argentinian movies are good, some bad, some mediocres, some excelents, THIS IS ONE IS STUPID.

I remember when Falling Skies was released I became a fan instantly. The final episode was awful though. But let me say something on favor of Falling Skies. Falling Skies was , at the beginning, a very good alien invasion tv series. Lastly, it ended being boring, unsubstantial and hollow. Invasion NEVER was a good series, allways throwing new threads of drama to ultimatelay become fuzzy and empty. After two seasons we do not know nothing about who are the invaders, what they want and why the invasion was so easyly repelled, all those ships falling down just with some sort of trick of the japanese lady. Will be a third season of this series? Frankly, I dont care. I am done with this. Good Luck.

A lot of hours of my life that never will return. A complete waste of time, trying to get an alien in an alien movie. To no avail. Totally crap of a series. Oh, here come the aliens. They are like a ball with tentacles or something, how they got to the Earth? Where are the spaceships or some asteorid perhaps? Not clue, keep guessing and good luck. The trailer brought me here and I believe some aliens will be available to watch, but they didnt make it. Actress, actors, atmosphere building is okey but in fact nothing really happens, is like to put the kettle in the ofire just to boil water not intending to make coffee or tea, just boil water. A shame.
