The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE THE NAME TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE
This does not even compare to the original!! Another remake that did not have to be made. This was a stripped down, watered down, cliche' knock off, I was getting into it in the begining but by the middle I was just so disappointed and the ending was atroicious!! There was no dinner scene! There wasn't even an homage shot of the notorious low angle dolly shot of the girl walking to the house. This is what happens when Hollywood gets a hold of a classic and puts Michael Bay's production company in charge. Whew! Now I feel better.
Cabin Fever (2002)
GREAT GORE, HORRIBLE ACTING
Obvioulsy this is a B movie that some how by the grace of god made it to the movies. It's a great B movie, but the acting was excruciating. The whole begining of the movie was horrendus, there must of been 4 or 5 different songs crammed into the first 5 minutes of the movie. And the "grim" guy was absolutley pointless, he came out of no where. The cast was just wrong I think, it seemed like they were just reading lines, espeically the 2 girls and the dumb friend with the rifle. But I have to say it's not bad for a first time writer/director. I would like to see what else he can do.
The Hebrew Hammer (2003)
not that funny
I was expecting to this to be hilarious and it was mediocre at best, the only funny character is, believe it or not Andy Dick. The timing was just horrible on most of the jokes & gags and the writing was bad, I mean I know its supposed to be like blaxploitation but it just did work. besides this whole genre has been beaten to death already, with all the austin powers movies & undercover brother, it just seems old, it also just feels like a rip off from undercover brother (which also wasn't hysterical, but a lot funnier than this). Also, for an comedy/action movie the direction was kind of bland. I don't know if this is going to be released in theaters, but it definatley is made for TV.
