Teddy Bare (1978)
A complete ripoff of History d'Q - The Story Of Q
I ran across this title and was rather surprised that I had seen this film before. Just not with the English dubbed dialogue (which is not even in sync with the characters mouth movements). Let me just say this. The leading man in this film is not Bradford Neeley. No such person ever existed. It is completely made up. This credits also say that Sylvia Benedict appears and yet the two blondes who do appear are not her. The two blondes who do appear are both Gina Janssen and Sigrun Theil. This is a German movie and is a blatant ripoff of the film I mentioned. It was not exactly a great film with sex scenes lasting 3 minutes or less and constantly going back and forth in time. I guess the guy was day dreaming or something but the plot is horrible and the acting is even worse. Also appearing in this film are Michèle Amoudruz and Francine Custer. The fact is none of the credits shown here on IMDB are correct. It's 100% madeup and even the writer shown as Ann Perry is wrong. The director is David Khane. It was filmed in Frankfurt, Germany and if you look at some of the outdoor shots you can clearly see it is Germany. I am so disgusted with this mess of a film that I am giving it 1 star. It's that bad. I am going to notify IAFD about this because they have it listed the same as it is here. And like I said it is 100% BS. You can find a clean DVD copy of this movie with the original German title online. It is better quality than this release.
Palmen, Meer und nasse Grotten (1979)
Funny and Sexy
Sigrun Theil plays Mrs. Mauser a hot and horny wife married the Franz-Egan Mauser, her fat husband with no clue as to what his wife is up to. The story starts with the couple discussing a vacation somewhere in the Italy. Sigrun cheats on Franz every chance she can get and even goes out on a date with a fella named Hardy Krueger. There is a very short sex scene with her and Hardy in his car. The Mausers arrive in Italy at a hotel and there are many comical scenarios involving Franz and some unknown woman who just can't seem to get away from Franz. I won't get into details but the situations these two get caught up in are mixed in with a lot of the sex scenes. The very first day the the Mausers are on the beach when a young man shows up who knows Franz-Egan back in Germany. He asks for help getting his beach chair set up. Frau Mauser insists that Franz can fix it. While he is distracted the young man and Sigrun run off to have sex in a building somewhere. Later on Sigrun meets up with a doctor who is staying with his young wife at the hotel. Sigrun fakes a bite on her body to get the doctor to look at it. They go back to his room and end up having sex. Franz meets up with the doctor and his wife later on and they go site seeing. The first young man that Sigrun cheated with has his girlfriend with him. Sigrun stays behind as the young couple head into the mountains and there is another sex scene. The Doctor and his wife then manage to ditch Franz and run off to a private place in the countryside to have sex. Franz all the while is mystified by everything. He doesn't have a clue what his wife is up to. The young wife of the doctor and Sigrun have a lesbian scene before the vacation comes to and end. The sex scenes are edited rather poorly but there is enough raunch to make it all interesting. Franz (played by F. C. Barns) always appears in non sex roles. He is purely a comedian and he does make you laugh at times even though some of the situations are very stupid. I believe this was Sigrun's last movie she ever made. I never saw here in another role after this one. I give this 6 our of 10 stars simply because Sigrun is a beautiful woman, even for a bucktoothed blonde.
Petits culs à enfiler (1983)
The Card Game (aka Pokerissimo con mogli in palio)
The French title was kind of dumb because it simply translates to "Little Asses Put On". It doesn't make any sense. The Italian release was a little better in it's titling. They called it "Pokerissimo con mogli in palio" which translates to "Poker With Wives Up For Grabs" The USA release was dubbed in English and simply called the Card Game. There is yet one other version released by a German group called Video Direkt. The title they gave it was "Harte Zocker, heiße Mösen" it translates to something even dirtier. "Hard Gamblers, Hot C**ts". (I hate using to C word so I censored it.)
No adult video database seems to know about the German release. The interesting thing about it is another girl is shown who was not in the original film. I have no idea who she is though. Some unknown French performer I assume. The inclusion of her along with 2 of the original females stars (Evelyne Lang and Sabina Karen) created a much longer version. The last scene of the German release was not in the original French release. It also made the film longer. 1 hour 17 minutes to be exact. Each version of this film was edited differently. Meaning the sex scenes are shown at various different times in all the releases. I am reviewing the English dubbed version because it made it easier to follow what was going on. Like the previous reviewer, the story is about 3 buddies who play poker, a few run out of money and they then pay off their losses by swapping wives out as payment. It's rather a silly plot but it works to some degree. One of the players (an uknown older male actor) does not actually have sex wih the other guys wifes. They only show him and a another guys wife in a car with some very mild foreplay and nothing else. There is no anal sex in any of the scenes but there is in the final scene I mentioned before, in the German release. Cathy Menard is the star of this film and two well known male performers are also highlighted. The story could of been better and because this was video taped and not shot on film, it is grainy and lacks quality. I have the DVD version and it is almost as bad as the VHS version. I give this a 5 out of 10 only because I am a Menard fan and she always looks great on screen. She also is a well accomplished actress, having done mainstream films in France, Germany and Italy. I would tell people who have not seen this flick what to expect. It gets dull after awhile and the poker game is the reason why. The sex scenes were decent. The Asian girl Lyn Wao never did another film so she made it worth the watch as well. Hope this review helps you decided whether to watch it or not.
Debbie Does Hawaii (1979)
Not really a sequel to Debbie Does Dallas at all.
This movie was originally entitled Vicki in 1974. I know this because I saw it in the theaters back in 1974. You also can tell this wasn't filmed in 1979. It was filmed in 8mm. Rather odd for 1979, since the majority of releases were now being shot in 35mm. Vicki is supposed to be a hawaiian word and not anyone's name in the original release. This film is pieced together quite differently than the original release. There is bad editing in this movie which I believe was done purposely to prevent the viewer from discovering that the lead character is in fact, not named Debbie at all. The name Debbie is never mentioned once in this entire movie. There are parts of the original edited out of this release and the opening scene starts backwards. It's crazy! Not to mention the girl used a puppet to masturbate her boyfriend in the original but that was completely removed from this film. The other reviewer mentions a rape during the sex ritual scene but there isn't any rape at all. I don't know what he was watching but the orgy scene was just a fraternity initiation party. Since this movie was released in 1979, a year after Debbie Does Dallas, it seems rather odd that the main character is an 18 year old virgin. After doing Dallas, you would think she'd be a girl with a reputation by now. LOL. In my opinion, re-releasing this film as a sequel to DDD was just a means of making money off a very bad movie from the earlier 70s. If you want prove of the year it was originally released, you can find the original trailer for "Vicki" in Bucky's 70s Triple XXX Movie House Trailers Vol. 7.
