What's New, Scooby-Doo?: A Scooby-Doo Valentine (2005)
Doesn't add up
My only thing is.. if the new boyfriend is trying to frame shaggy & the gang.. why continue the attacks after the gang has already been arrested? That would proof they are innocent... not very smart for Jaycee...
Other than that I love the comedic additions of the gang.. like daphne losing her mind because she had to drink tap water instead of bottled.. or daphne and Fred being awkward while pretending to be romantic... or the joke about Scooby being off carbs while he is pretending to be a girl.
Also LOVE the comment by daphne "was Sarah Michelle Gellar too busy??" Love when the show started adding more comedic comments like this.. felt more real.
FBI (2018)
Yes let's go!
Yay! I absolutely love this show! Strong female leads, I've always been such a fan of Missy.
I love the soundtrack, so epic! I always feel like crime tv never really reiterates to the audience how dire these cases are, it is literally life and death in some cases, and this show makes it seem very real to me.
The acting is good, sometimes the guest stars in the different episodes are not great, but I can get past that.
I'm only on season 1 so, maybe I will change my mind but I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews on here that seem unwarranted (and are only probably made because this show has a female lead), so I just wanted to share my positive review :)
Willow (2022)
Another classic ruined
I'm so upset with this show. I won't spoil anything but why is it written like a teen comedy? The language is modern day and it just completely rips the viewer out of the world of Willow. I'm so disappointed. I hope if you are a willow fan you can read this before you watch the series, as it has ruined my view of the willow franchise. I thought this would be something as enchanting as when they made the Dark Crystal prequel show but sadly, it is just a weird, and very poorly written knock off. They did willow dirty with this show, they had such a great opportunity and they completely blew it. Normally im not a negative reviewer but this was so bad I had to come on here and say this.
The Wonder (2022)
The wonder is wonderful
This movie was amazing, acting was great Florence Pugh always pulls it out of the bag, and I loved the fourth wall breaks and the uncomfortable moments that they had throughout the film. This was a great adaptation of a play, a wonderful piece of artwork. I can see, if some people may have difficulty following all the subtle nuances and hidden meanings within the scripts and the moments, that they would give this film a bad rating. But if you truly understand it and are willing to go deeper into the script, you will find that this is a powerful film about stories and the things we tell ourselves to make sense of our worlds.
The Orville (2017)
This is my comfort show
I have always been a huge Trekkie, but recently the new Trek shows just haven't been doing it for me. I found The Orville on DisneyPlus and I haven't looked back since. I loved how funny this show was the first season and a half, and then when they began to introduce more serious story lines after the Identity two parter, my mind was blown. Season three had me tearing up almost every episode, I love the social justice issues that are explored through out this series, the way they are handled is lovely. I hope this gets renewed for a fourth season!! Currently rewatching for the 5th time.
