Waste of an episode In wasted season

This was a weak episode of a bad season. Good thing that this was the last. Let's consider that the NOPD had and has a reputation for corruption, ( as the city govt also has ). Pride would not be involved in a local investigation unless Washington authorised it. Did the producers ever check the UCMJ? NCIS is still the Navy.

Painful

The last episode of this season was the finale thanks to production issues with Covid. Of course. S.7 was the Covid season. This was also a painfully weak episode focused on men being evil or stupid. Richard Thomas nailed it again as the evil and inept Van Cleef. It came off as a female empowerment that pushed that. Having worked under inept females, it cuts both ways.

This is one of the better S.5 episodes. Its a Sebastian Lund episode and one of the better written episodes in an uneven season. The cast as well really brought it.

After 4 solid seasons. The writing was sub-par. It struggled for the remainder of the series and was all over. Just re-watched this very weak episode and its as bad as I remembered. Some good individual performances but the episode one of the worst in the series.

A show that lost it

The first 4 seasons were still solid. But the show went off the rails. The writing was sub-par and the show was trying too hard to be PC. I'm a long time NCIS fan and the show became unwatchable.
