Solid horror movie with a new take on the genre
17 February 2023
The movie follows a group of elderly tourists who are on a trip to attend a rodeo show, but their excursion takes a dark turn when they are kidnapped by a gang of twisted cowboys who force them to participate in a deadly game of survival.

The film boasts a talented cast, including Sean Patrick Flanery, Lindsey Morgan, and Andrew Jacobs, who deliver solid performances throughout. The cinematography effectively captures the bleak, rural setting of the film, and the visuals and gore are well executed.

At times, the story can feel clichéd and predictable and the characters are not well-developed enough to fully engage the audience. However, "Lasso" remains a convincing horror movie that delivers thrills and scares,. It is worth checking out for horror fans and broader audiences who are looking for a fresh take on the genre.

A timeless TV series that stood the test of time
17 February 2023
"Little House on the Prairie" is a heartwarming and inspiring series that has stood the test of time. The show tackles a variety of themes, such as family, community, and resilience, all while showcasing the struggles and triumphs of life on the frontier.

One of the most appealing aspects of the show is its focus on strong family values and the importance of community. The Ingalls family is portrayed as hardworking, honest, and kind-hearted, and the show emphasizes the value of these qualities in building a successful and happy life.

The show is also notable for its portrayal of strong, independent women, such as Laura (Melissa Gilbert) and her mother Caroline (Karen Grassle), who are shown as capable and resourceful in the face of adversity.

Of course, like any show, "Little House on the Prairie" is not without its flaws. Some of the episodes can be overly sentimental, and the show's portrayal of Native Americans and other marginalized groups can be problematic and stereotypical at times.
