Considering Tim Burton's classic being a loose adaptaion of Batman's orgins, it's no wonder this game while based on the same movie is also a loose adaptation of the film. But I honestly consider this Batman game to be the best from whole SEGA MD catalogue. The developers were very clever for adapting probably the most popular game genres of that time (Beat-em-up, Racing-shooting, flyng-Shooting). In this game Batman punches and kicks the foes, throws Batarangs, uses his grappling hook, rides the Batmobile and flies his Batwing. The strange thing is that because this Batman doesn't really follow his famous creed, you would have countless of enemies shot from the Batmobile in this game. And I laughed a lot at mount of Joker followers, he actually got the whole army this time, all being in the pink cars and TANKS!!!!!! And while you fly the Batwing, you shoot a swarm of enemy helicopters, which would make the Prince of Crime much more menacing than in the film. And this why this game was enjoyable to play. And I also want to mention the excellent music and graphics, those truly made this Batman game worth playing even more.

Have to admit, i'm not amongst the hardcore fans of the originals (1,2,3 and The Room maybe), though they are undeniably best in the serie, especially when we talk about the second one. The Silent Hill Homecoming was my own first complete experience with the this franchise, the game's interest was also fueled up after wathing the first movie. So back then when I played the Homecoming it felt like excellent horror Silent Hill game, with all those Pyramid Head, the Nurses, the Cult Members and etc. Felt just right and in it's own place. And of course, the bosses are amazing, both scary and symbolic. I think, if people could to not compare this game to the first three (or four) of the fracnhise, it could have gotten much higher deserved praise.

It's an important chapter of Sam Fisher's story. Michael Ironside does again a fantastic job bringing life tohis character via his voice. The plot is definitely inspired by Che Guevara's biography, which is why visiting the in-game Malaysian Jungles feels like the obvious parallel. I especially enjoyed the chapter in the airport. It felt just brilliant to me. If you enjoy the first game, this one will surely give you the non-less enjoyable expiriance, but only if in-game shadows work right. The note for modern users: before you start this game.seek for the changed d3d8.dll. File which helps the in-game shadows work right.

Since Rockstar and Remedy are planning to remake the classics, I would like to shortly review this game. It's true to tone of the first one: the atmospheric Noir-comics-style narrative, the charismatic voice of James McCaffrey, the Conspiracy theories, the slow-mo shooter mechanics are all present along with RegDoll physics and facial animation so to say which are now common things in the games but they are sure were welcomed back then. We sure all miss the MaxGrimace but to be serious, the faces here look more like faces and Rockstar isnt afraid of making some cutscenes running on the game engine,which is commendably.
As for the story - it digs deeper into Max's psychology, underlining his growing mental instability and obsession. Considering that stories for shooters games back then were mostly formality to give player motivation to go on, here they try show something deeper than just the hero seeking vengeance. That is to say, i have enjoyed this game and I surely recommend to play it or to replay it if someone had done it a long time ago.

There are no words for sescribing how much i love this game. I was a kid when first played it and being grown up i still return to play it. Despite the simlicity for the graphic, the gameplay feels alive and addicting. I still hope one day we see remastered version for this with next-gen graphic. But right now I strongly recommend turn on this game, turn on rock musc from the game for the background sound and go deep into nostalgia while you drive your bike and kick your oppnents out of their bikes. It what actually defines american nintees. And please don't skip the movies, they are so cool and hilarious.

I remember how impressed i was with this game some years ago and It still looks gorgeous and brings satisfacion both with gameplay and atmosphere. I espcially enjoyed how builds can be demolished by the guns and how the maps look beautiful and alive in this game. What is also done well is progression system for your chosen metropolia, it's unique for every nation. When you win, you get resources (the scores actually) so you manage and decotate your city. The story mode is also satisfting really woth your time.

It's both brutal and Hard, but still it's true to the ROBOCOP film tone (to the first two film actually). It's the type of game which totally needs both HighDefinition remastering and continuation. It so deserves to be a franchise.
