Beer League (2006)
Beer League Hits a Homer...
Growing up with Frank in Nutley in the 80's, I can relate to this movie. I thought he captured the essence of a North Jersey softball league quite well. I think this has cult classic potential.
I love the irreverent humor, constant innuendo and attitude. I think it may not appeal to everybody but for those who are in their mid-30's this hits a chord.
I'm sorry to see that the movie was released directly to video. I hope to see Artie and Frank continue to make fun movies like this.
I remember when Frank, Larry Hu and I went to see Jackie the Jokeman way back in high school at NYU. It's pretty funny now that he's working with Artie and Jackie is MIA. Keep up the good work.
Lost & Found (1999)
Save your money...
This movie is not very good. Even though, David Spade has a few funny moments and Sophie Marceau is ridiculously good looking. The chemistry between the two doesn't seem work on screen. I would save your money and see something else.
Coach (1978)
This movie is bad...
I found the DVD version of this movie at a rummage sale. The basic premise is an affair between a teacher/coach a student. The acting is weak and the plot razor thin.
This movie had all the depth and plot development of an adult film.
