Nothing like the BRITs for a great comedy.

These classic British comedies state timely and their humor. I rate this one up there with Their best. I wish it would come back.

Ending left me baffled
26 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Warning spoiler. Acting in this is absolutely superb. I was in thralled right up to the ending. I don't know what type of bullets the Korean place used to bring a suspect down however the ending was so abrupt from a high intensity of action to a surprise appearance of the hero who we presumed dead, grave stone and all some miraculous recovery from an onslaught of high-powered rifles. It just didn't make any sense.

Crossing Lines (2013–2015)
Series 3 is the only spoiler here.

Warning: Spoilers
Series 2 ended and I guess we have to be careful what we wish for, because I just started watching Series 3 on Netflix. What a disappointment. Just picked up with new and not so new or so good, characters just as though all the cliffhangers we were left with didn't occur. Cheap dialogue is suppose to satisfy the fans. The best of the characters now gone, the story line screwed, and the supporting actors have become the stars....sorry I ever started watching this. There should be a law, that if a series is not going to continue they should be forced to write an ending they can use at the show's demise. No one I saw so far can carry this vehicle, and none can make it as interesting. Flat new characters, mediocre acting, guess the only criteria is to be cute if you are a woman and don't shave if you are a man...bummer... Sorry Don, you are just too old to hold all those sad actors together.

Marco Polo (2014–2016)
8/10
Fun to watch, but so historically incorrect it is fiction.
24 November 2016
I really enjoyed this action packed series, but the historical inaccuracies make me wonder. Why was it necessary to change some of the vital information....the death of the Song Dynasty's child emperor, who died in the suicide drowning with the Chancellor who jumped with him into the river...in fact there were 3 young emperors, and all died in suicide with their protectors. Also there was no one on one fight with his brother...fictional characters were added that supposedly changed history..there are many minor errors, and too many major ones, but when it is a historical drama, I can't see why writers must take such license. It is disappointing. I like the action, but it becomes pure fiction. Marco Polo was 17, and hardly a fighter, or a lover at that age. His father and uncle were not freed prisoners either. They were left to protect their wares while they could and they left with much...not at all like depicted.

Jason Bourne (I) (2016)
8/10
I thought I was watching a rerun...oh, I was!
5 September 2016
I love the Jason Borne action, and Matt Damon was buff enough to be interesting but it is time to change the story line or retire Jason Borne. The writers at this point are plagiarizing. It is the same story with different people, all chasing down to kill a man who has dropped so far out of sight they can't find him... you have to ask yourself why they don't just "let a sleeping dog lie?"

The action is fast as usual, unfortunately so was the camera. There was so much blurring and fast movement of the camera there were times I had to look away to keep from being sick. I literally got queasy. Rather than issue a spoiler alert, they should warn epileptics, seriously, it had the same effect as strobe lights.

Bottom line: Save your money and just watch the many reruns on t.v. same o, same o.
