No Escape (2015)
Best action/drama I have watched this year
I have got to say, That Me and My lad watch a lot of films [ About 200 plus a year] and most rate from meh to OK that was watchable, But when We watched No Escape tonight, The pair of us were blown away by the way the story gripped us throughout the entire pace of the film, forget goofy semi funny Owen Wilson and welcome the believable and very competent acting abilities of the now mature Mr Wilson, and if you add into the mix the rest of the more than capable cast, great story and production team, you have a winning combination for an excellent nights entertainment, If you are stuck to fill an hour and three quarters on a night I can not rate this higher, Crack open a can put your feet up and enjoy a seat gripper at it's Hollywood recent Best.
Visions (2015)
review from an ordinary bloke and his son
From a couple of Avid Film and TV watchers, I've got to say, Out of all the films and Christmas TV we have both watched over the festive period, This has got to be the viewing highlight for both of us, It has provided suspense , intrigue and had us both drawn in from the beginning up to a cracking end.
If like us you are not one of those "Oh I went to Uni and got a Degree in Media Studies, and I know lighting, script writing,ETC" and all that upper class B.S, But an ordinary film enjoy-er, then fill your boot's, forget the world kick off you're shoes have a couple of Beer's and see the film for what it really is a bit of well done entertainment.
Playing with Dolls: Bloodlust (2016)
wtf happened at the end
just watched this movie expecting it to be like one of the classic 70s horror movies as advertised on the DVD sleeve and enjoyed it tongue in cheek up to the finale, yeh some of the characters seemed underdeveloped and the main protagonist history was unexplained but the main thing that pee-ed me off was in the final part the film seemed to run out of steam and was cut off in the final minutes leaving a very unsatisfying and abrupt end as if the creaters of this had run out of ideas HOW TO END THIS AND GAVE UP, watchable until the end, don't watch this unless you enjoy scratching your head and wondering why you spent £6 quid in Asda.
