I just finished watching this series for the second time, and I am so sad! I truly wish there was more Monarch of the Glen than just 7 seasons. The writers and creators of this show did a brilliant job of taking a majestic land, injecting truly one of a kind yet relatable characters, and coming up with a story line that constantly surprises, enchants, and entertains (and often made me laugh out loud!). What I especially like is how the characters show depth and complexity over time, which is much like real life. The soundtrack is wonderful, too. Highly recommend.
