Snowpiercer: A Beacon for Us All (2022)
Everything was calm until..
So, Melanie is alive, and I wonder why we wanted her to come back.. what's the point to make a coup? She managed to create chaos for what? To save them from what? The train could have had a problem any day in any place, but going to the new Eden, with all the possible risks, could probably rescue all of them.
And of course, do not forget who warned them about the risks; Wilford. So, considering the source, I wouldn't believe the danger was that great. I believe Melanie just grabbed her chance to take the train under her command again, and Wilford created the exact chaos for him to escape, who by the way was supposed to have become a better person after his survival (let's not forget that his girlfriend was disappointed on him for that exact reason)...
I kinda wanted to see the possible new Eden, even though I am against about the lie of new Eden, but the series has to create chaos every now and then to have something to show us, I assume...
Snowpiercer: The First Blow (2022)
Pretty good, but..
Well, it was a nice duel between Layton team (big alice and the rebels) VS just Wilford and his butler, so it was pretty obvious that the rebels would take the train again sometime.
BUT.. Layton is a good and smart guy that makes wrong decisions WHEN he is the winner. It's really sad to see his character making people lie to others, even though he is supposed to be a truthful person, especially when he was loathing the lies Melanie was telling the people on the train.
-4 for destroying a good character.
