Humanity is the biggest Hero!
28 June 2023
Beautiful film with such a sweet mix of emotions. Set against the catastrophic 2018 floods of Kerala that literally drowned the whole state with endless rains & brought life to lock down, the movie shows how the commoners led by the fishermen community become angels of God to save humans from places that were not in the picture as most of the houses were submerged in water. Hats off to the writer & director for bringing such a noble idea for cinematic experience that was so well carried forward by the ensemble cast. The tag line itself justifies this movie as in this crew: Everyone is a hero. Must watch !!

Kids Ramayan in Cartoon Books has better script
19 June 2023
Ramayan is a timeless epic that has defined the personification of Godly Goodness in humans like Sri Ram & Demonic Ego like Ravan. We all are obsessed with this story that has shaped our culture, religion & society in a way like nothing else. So, it needs to be shown in a grand scale with great characters if someone dares to show it on a big screen. But, Om Raut & team has made a parody of Ramayan on a grand scale. Shame on Manoj Muntashir for writing such C grade dialogues for an epic that defines the soul of our ethics & dharma. He should be put behind bars for spoiling the greatness of our eternal heroes.

Artificial Intelligence: Kali of Kalyug!
11 June 2023
Absolutely amazing. Top notch acting of Arshad & the young Subh. This series is taking some serious issues of AI controlling humans without even letting them know that. If one web series needs to be watched by everyone, it'll be this. Mythology is blended with technology in perfect way. That dark web leveraging criminals is shown appropriately. One of the guys was using inbuilt chat of online games to deliver secret messages. How technology can led to the end of Kalyug is presented in a commendable manner. Slowly, but steadily, we all are becoming slaves of technological advances. Asur is the Godfather of all web series in India.

The Shawshank Redemption of Sports Biopics
1 April 2022
You don't need to be a legend always to inspire. Sometimes all you need is an honest, sincere & continuous effort. Pravin Tambe is a 40+ struggling cricketer, who didn't get a chance to prove his talent and his career looks to end even before it starts. But, the only ray of hope is his honest dedication towards his life that is Cricket. When all seems over, life gives him a super over. The Wall, Rahul Dravid, spots his talent & he gets into the playing 11 of Rajasthan Royals for the most astonishing franchise league of cricket in the world, IPL. His debut comes at an age when most players get retired. At a crucial juncture, when the opponents are about to chase the score made by Rajasthan, Pravin Tambe gets his debut over & guess what, he takes a hattrick. On top of that, he becomes the highest wicket taker in that IPL Tournament. Above all, this is an absolutely 💯 true story. What an inspirational story that requires your patience, but rewards you handsomly! Must Watch. Simple, yet super special. Boy next door, yet a superhero. Soulful performance of Shreyas Talpade.

A bits & pieces half-thriller
18 March 2022
After watching Asur last year, the expectations were high from a big budget production. Sadly, they didn't invest in the script. Many villains come in different episodes, yet no one creates a frightening impact. Ajay Devgn is as usual shown in a monotonous no non-sense honest cop with no emotional connect this time. Esha Deol is just good as nothing. Atul Kulkarni is good. Overall, a big disappointment.

The Red Panda that ensouls a little girl due to the connection of her ancestors starts to frighten her & she questions her identity. Finally, when she came to know the biggest secret of her family, the biggest lesson of her life is delivered. Acceptance. No power is good or bad. It is our control over it that defines our fate. This message is given in a nice way. Must watch for all kids!

All Time Best Cop Movie
14 February 2022
Endless movies are made on 'One Cop against the whole bloody corrupt system'. Yet, no one has captured the reality as beautifully as Shool. Manoj Bajpai is the gem 💎 that shines throughout. Yet every character, especially the villain is a joy to watch.

Indiana Jones Reloaded!

If you are missing Indiana Jones or National Treasure, this movie is definitely for you. Not even a single moment that I got bored. Dwayne 'The Rock' is the best in comedy filled action.

A Soulful Sincere Socially Appealing Reality
14 February 2022
Based on true events, this is a frightening mirror of the society that we have created in the name of Caste, Creed, Color, Religion & so on. Humanity is the top honor. Jai Bhim wins the respect of every human aspect that separates us from animals. It is a global cinema crossing all barriers. Deserves Oscar. Definitely one of the best movies of 21st century!

Godly Cinematic Connection of Human Soul
5 February 2022
Being Uttarakhandi, I connected to this movie deeply. It shows the stigmas of caste & gender discrimination, child marriage, unemployment, etc. And how it impacts the life of village people. Set in the background of Baba Kedar's Kedarnath, it is one of the best cinematic experiences in the landscape of nature.

But, on a broader scale, it is a movie for anyone seeking redemption from this circle of livelihood, children, family, career, success... where it looks as if they have achieved a lot & yet feeling so brittle, so ignorant.. incomplete. It is a genuine story of how one remains connected to the roots, no matter how far one may go.

'Land of the Gods' beautifully captures the struggles & pain of the simple villagers in its purest form.

Directed by a Serbian, it shows the village as it is without any biases. Definitely a must watch. Rarest of the Rare Gem!
