Another episode where we get to see the banter between Malloy and Reed develop into their unique friendship. The rookie vs mentor arc is being developed in this episode when we see Malloy deferring to Reed several times. These short exchanges are hysterical because they plot Reed's "happy home" mentality against the happy bachelor Malloy is so proud of. The clincher is when Malloy realizes he can get rid of the rest of the puppies with his single girlfriends!
I miss the humor featured in these early episodes. It's often rare in the late seasons. This episode is refreshing. Also glad to hear Pete finding his raspy delicious voice!
