My Pride (2020–2021)

Good, but a lack of character IN characters.

When I first started watching My Pride, I was hooked. And I still am! But, the thing is..

First, about how the creator advertises the show itself The creator seems to just flash off the show as the '' Gay Lion Show '' rather than the great show it is, and as a lesbian, I enjoy representation of the LGBTQ community, but queerbaiting is a big problem.

The creator queerbaits viewers, mainly advertising that the main character, Nothing, is gay.

Secondly, but actually about the show.. Certain characters seem to LACK character, being plot tools, and changing their usual behavior to match the plot, for example;

When Longrun/Hover yells at Nothing for missing her naming ceremony on accident, when actual reasons were in front of her. She gets mad that she joined the pride for Nothing, only for her not to show up.

While this was *somewhat* in character, it seems to be very unrealistic and plot driven.

But the good parts, The plot seems to be carried out well despite all of its tools, like how it reveals that there is more to the goddesses than whats told, how it was a fabricated lie to what a victim wanted to believe. The goddesses weren't on Earth to tell everyone that Pride Law is a lie, so it leaves Nothing to be able to tell everyone. And I think that's a very nice way to go with things.

TLDR; Queerbaiting, and ablest lions lack character, and are only used for plot. But the storywriting makes up for it, the hint of mystery is good.

Inanimate Insanity (2011– )

Didn't even finish, but I know its good.

When I was younger I skipped out on Season 1 for whatever reason, but the plot is still easy to understand without watching it.

Along with this series being hilarious, it brings a ton of story with it. I never expected this much drama and action to be brought into an object show, since the show that first started it out ( BFDI ) was so happy-go-lucky with its little quirks. And I mean that in a good way, this show is new, fresh, and mysterious. There's so much to learn as you watch it, so much plot.. and you can sympathize with the characters easily.

This series is great for those who like twists and turns, and serious topics along with humor.

Inanimate Insanity: Mine Your Own Business (2018) Season 2, Episode 13

AMAZING PLOT!

This episode was really a big game changer for the whole series, and changed my perspective on Mephone 4. For example, the way Steve Cobs treated Mephone when he was still in Meeple Headquarters effects how he treats Toilet, he resents Toilet in the same way Steve did to him, ignoring his true ability. And I really just think some plot on the actual host is a great way to take this series, and its not just the Host backstory either. Its everything that happened in this episode, like how Baseball carries on the guilt of not standing up for Balloon.

I'm happy to see where this goes, as I continue to binge watch this series.
