A great movie to watch for fun

Everyone's favorite street racing movie, which is where it all started when the franchise was about illegal racing and not about saving the world from terrorists, when it comes to making movies, sometimes less is more, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker have great chemistry and an interesting dynamic that has become a modern classic. I definitely recommend watching it, it's not the first time I've reviewed all the films in this franchise, but I like this one, the first one, the best. So you won't regret the time you wasted, because it won't be wasted for nothing.

An excellent movie with an unusual storyline

Ratner's Hercules is one of the best films since Snatch. This time, the quick scenes don't work too well, and not all the jokes hit the mark, but the pacing and the focus on the main story made this film a winner. Add to that a cast to cheer for, and The Rock as a believable protagonist, and this tale of the old Hercules myth is a movie not to be missed, especially as long as I did.

I recommend this movie for viewing

This may be Michael Bay's best film, which is saying a lot. Wahlberg and the Rock have great chemistry and charisma, and make for an interesting film even when it drags on. The strange thing is that the movie is based on a true story, and the main characters in the movie are based on real villains (they are murderers). At the same time, the real victim(s), represented here by Tony Shalhoub's character, are made out to be the antagonist. Johnson and Wahlhberg's black comedy as these meat-headed idiots,

An excellent movie with an unusual storyline

A poorly written retelling of the first movie. But since they couldn't get Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson was the replacement. He and Walker have great chemistry and probably the most unintentional gay undertones I've seen in a movie. Once you notice them, it's very hard not to notice them, and that's probably the best comedic aspect of this movie, because the writers clearly didn't know how these lines would sound in context. And since some of them are spoken in the clips, it's even more hilarious. Otherwise, the plot is just another story of undercover brothers harassing a mob boss with a silly and unnecessary plan, where almost every plot point consists of races from one place to another. Some of the races are very interesting, such as Gibson and Walker beating the American cars in a team race. But that's the only thing that stands out. The overuse of CGI, which makes many scenes look like video games, and the silly, almost inappropriate, borderline Sci Fi car stunner only add to the film's redundancy. Nevertheless, the pacing and the aforementioned romance make this movie a little less enjoyable than the first film, but it's still a good "ride."
