NieR: Automata (2017 Video Game)
10/10
A game that makes you question your existence
22 December 2023
I will keep it short because NieR:Automata cannot be described in words. In my opinion it is a total revolution from what we were used to in that time. NieR:Automata showed the world that games can be philosophical and emotional.

The game itself can be played an unlimited amount of time, it is like walking through an art gallery and scanning every painting and its meanings. This game made me cry everytime it had the chance to do so. It also talk about a lot of modern problems via metaphors and in-game stories. It truly made me cry more than 30 times I believe. But besides the fantastic philosophical meaning behind the game the music is what makes this game truly one of a kind.

Never in my life have I ever heard better compositions than in NieR:Automata. Every single track was sharply composed and every song tells a story. Most of the songs use the "Chaos Language" which is a made up language by the original producer and author Yoko Taro. With the "Chaos language" being the main language in which is sung, the player has to listen much closer to the beautiful instruments and tones.

One moment which truly stuck with my heart was "Popola and Devola's" story, I just could not stop crying during those moments and I really hope for everyone who goes through a similar situation to be strong.

In conclusion NieR:Automata is my inspiration to keep on living and fighting, it is a beautiful story about humanity, even if it makes us look very small and unimportant, it shows how much can be achieved just by 1 person.

Please try this game out for yourself and try to enjoy it as much as possible even if the gameplay isn't for you.

10/10.

Amazing Show for the younger audience
28 February 2022
The ImDb community truly misunderstood what cartoons are about, this show is clearly dedicated to a younger audience, there is no deep story, nor is the story about a particular dark or let's say "mature" topic. It is a show based on random smaller stories, including the devil and the villains of the game's franchise. My younger sibling absolutely loved the show show so it is basically recommended by me.

Soma (2015 Video Game)
10/10
One of the best story and plot twist in the horror/misery genre
18 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I finished the game today on the 16th of February 2022 and let me tell you, it has aged extremely well.

Soma offers a whole lot of atmosphere and tension. It isn't packed with jumpscares, but the lore, soundtrack and effect sounds while playing the game, make this game a creepy and exciting experience you'll never forget, especially with that plot twist coming at the end. I sat there with my mouth open for the last 15 min of the game. If you are looking for an atmospheric experience where you are able to empathize with Simon the protagonist, it should be able to reach your expectations. Great game 10/10.

Crash Twinsanity (2004 Video Game)

Nostalgia: 10/10 Game: 7/10 Overall 8,5/10

My favorite video game of all time!

Since the first time I have completed it, nothing has ever been stuck inside my mind and heart like this game.

If I am not mistaken, the game was released in 2002 on the ps2. We have to consider a few things here, first of all, it is a typical rushed game, they didn't have enough time to get everything they wanted to add into the game. Originally there were 7 Dimensions you could visit, including the original world. The end product had only 2 dimensions, the alternative and the normal crash universe.

Since they have had a lot of trouble developing this game, there have been found hundreds of bugs and glitches, in every level of the game, but that doesn't mean that it is a terrible game.

You are able to play as Neo Cortex, Nina Cortex and Crash Bandicoot. The game takes place in several locations, including an alternative Dimension with only 3 level segments.

The game mechanics are the once you know from these days. Sliding, double jumps, spinning and of course the jump smashers (these mechanics vary from character to character) The game is directed to Crash fans, a young and n older audience, it is filled with mostly simple riddles and hidden gems. The game is very linear, but you are able (due to bugs) to repeat the level if you revisit it. (I forgot to mention it is an open world, a linear one. So no side quests). The bosses are quite challenging and fun. (many bosses were cut)

Play it if you want to try it out, the glitches and bugs don't break the game. If we consider the time and the development time they have had it is a well done game. Hope for a remake, where they add every canceled game mechanic. By the way, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing, they are the most fun soundtracks in a jump and run game you'll ever hear! <3 8,5/10.

Isn't as good as the original game from 2003, but a well made Remake!
27 December 2021
Since my last review on the old Ps2 version of the game I have played the Remake: Rehydrated.

First of all, the graphics are amazing, very nice changes were made to the character models and the game world. One of the changes I love the most is the dream world, looking more like an actual dream now, rather than a simple box.

As someone who has played the original game, I am amazed how well they have portrayed the nostalgic atmosphere of the first game. The only issues I have with the game are some of the lags and bugs, they aren't a big deal, but they destroy, the atmosphere. For example: in the original game, a hand would almost always come out and reach for the character model, in this version the death screen is just a dark grey screen or some bubbles. The bubbles and the hand were always a part of the death sequences. The hand seems to glitch out sometimes and most of the time it doesn't even reach SpongeBob/Patrick/Sandy, before changing into the death screen and letting you respawn. The long awaited multi-player could have been handled much better and they could have added a co-op campaign. The multi-player we have is repetitive and boring. (I love how they added 4 new characters for the multiplayer tho)

Overall they could have tested the bugs more. Lovely map and simple for kids, not as great as the original but close.

Has aged extremely well
27 December 2021
The first time I have played the old Ps2 version was in 2009 when I was about 5 years old. I finished the game years later, because I couldn't understand the mechanics (obviously). Looking back at it now in 2021, after I bought the Remake (Rehydrated) I still remember every single detail that was put into the development of the old version. The graphics are still amazing for such an old game. Comparable to another great/unfinished game: Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity. Both of these games have aged extremely well in terms of game mechanics and graphics. It is a great game for beginners and I would recommend it to the younger audience mainly, because most older people who have been playing games for their whole life, will not find a challenge in this game. It is a fun platformer and considering it's release date, a well aged game (yes I repeated myself 3 times) 10 out of 10.
