Bird Box (2018)
Watching it now..
I'm 1.5 hours in and the best I can say, having read the book, is they threw darts at the book and collated the struck parts into a movie.
Good to see Malkovich but Bullock, who can be good, was laughable at exuding insouciance at life. Rent if you must, don't buy it.
Hopefully they won't do the same (if the book gets adaptedj with the sequel, "Malorie".
Grey's Anatomy: Back in the Saddle (2019)
Amelia..enough
Time for Amelia to make an exit. Every decision is mired in torment and rendered complicated. Enough..it's old..it's tired.
When the best part of an episode is "fried my nads" (Koracick), the writing has gotten disingenuous.
Grey's Anatomy: The Winner Takes It All (2019)
Thatch
Jeff Perry knocked this one out of the park. His dying moment effused with regret, thanks, and satisfaction all in one. Great acting and make-up did a good job.
New Amsterdam (2018)
Great replacement for..
How disappointed I was when Code Black was cancelled, NA nicely fills that spot. None of the saccharine found in Grey's, I'm liking the way broaches social/medical issues.
Also having fun placing the great actors in their previous work like Dr Who's Freema Agyeman.
Long life to New Amsterdam.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
One word
Sloppy.
Disjointed scenes which, strung together. forced the story onward to attain a trite ending and lazy launch point for a possible sequel.
Code Black (2015)
cancelled
I'm binge watching last few episodes and what keeps coming to mind is how in the hell is this show cancelled while superficial fluff like Grey's keeps going?
