Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (1993)
Gone too soon...
This was my favourite show when I was a kid. It had incredible animation and amazing storylines. Sadly, it only lasted a season, however, if you can find re-runs somewhere, WATCH THEM!! You'll be hooked! The show I think was based on a comic series called Xenozoic Tales, and I think there are also comics with this title. But it was an incredible show, which is something I can't stress enough.
Naked Frailties (1998)
A great independent movie
This is a fantastic modern adaptation of Macbeth by Red Deer College. The acting, while at times may not be excellent, is fairly good. The storyline is compelling. The star of a theatrical version of Macbeth (Trevor Woloshyn) is pulled into the play, so that his life mirrors it. His girlfriend, (Reagan Dale Neiss) angry that she did not get the part of "Lady M" plots revenge on the director. In an interesting twist from the play she merely tries to ruin his life, his ability to do, well, anything, as opposed to trying to kill him. This is a great film, made within the confines of Red Deer College, by very talented students, one of which went on to star in a TV show on the WB (not great, but it's something) I would highly recommend watching it.
