Late 60s cautionary drug tale
3 February 2007
This film won an award in Europe but it's ownership decided not to turn it over to a distributor thereby insuring its obscurity. It is a cautionary tale about keeping one's mind clear when dealing with fragile objects, in this case an infant. (Perhaps even dealing with life in general.)

I was shown the film by the leading man at his nephew's home in the mid 1990s. I was struck by its noir tone and the acting. While it lacked the production values one might find in today's films it will easily hold its own and if ever distributed as a DVD it would easily develop a cult following.

If you get the chance to see it, you should make the effort. It will not disappoint you.
