Body of Night (2020)

Amateur in every way
5 May 2022
It's like a junior college production of 50 Shades of Grey, written by 8th graders. The lead guy is a scrawny short dude and the girls are 2-3's out of 10, at best. Very cheap looking, plot is non-existant, acting is awful. Who rated this is a 10??

Meets the hype!
12 December 2021
My family has a new favorite Christmas movie! I've been looking forward to this one since it was announced on IMDB. It lives up to all the hype and then some. This one checks all the boxes--heart, humor, faith, love, even some suspense. The villain--played with a deft touch by the wonderful Joseph Moreland--is fleshed out well; you really feel the stakes here. Bobby Lacer plays the aptly named Judge Ezekial Rothstein and boy does he kill it. So funny! He directs here too and has a very bright future. Love love love this film. Will be playing on loop at my home every holiday season!

Another rousing success for JC films!
31 October 2021
I look forward to all JC Film releases. They are the best movies being made right now, by far. This one is possibly the best Halloween-themed movies I've seen in years. It is a cute Halloween comedy that will remind you of Scooby-doo. Per usual, the standout is Bobby Lacer, as Mayor Tim. He is wickedly funny, yet earnest when necessary. No one does it better. His handsome son, Brayden Lacer, has grown up before our very eyes. They are both destined to be stars. This is a fantastic film, two thumbs way up!!
