Main visual tells everything

The worst thing in life is losing your child especially if he/she is murdered, how could you forgive a person ?

The movie is about detained young criminal who is hoping to live outside the prison not for her own freedom but other reason.

Each one of us must make life meaningful, useful for other people, right ?

Can you give her another chance if you were the parent of victim.

I was amazed by unfamiliar young actress who played the most important role of the movie.

Pardon me for my baldness, other actors are not bad but they look like TV drama but this girl gave me shiver by her brilliant creation of sad lonely soul.

I am taking care of my dementia mother away from my wife and son. I am quite happy after all these years of separate life and now able to help her daily life. At the same time, I have sleepless night thinking about my job, wife and son, financial capability and so on. I have a few friends who give me encouragement, understanding, sympathy which I truly appreciate. But deep in my mind, No one could even know what is going on and how I am feeling everyday. Then I watched this movie and realized if not everyone but many people feels exactly the same with me. This art of work does not give superficial comfort nor dramatic ending. That is what our life is. Anyone who is living one part of family can find himself/herself here. Great movie.

I have been watching 2 directors' YouTube weekly program and happened to met them in person last week when they had outdoor speech for this movie's promotion. Till then I did not mean to come over to watch on the very first day of roadshow yesterday which I did. Movie is entertaining and yet let us think about our democracy and election system. We laughed at such comical views but came to think about what we are laughing at. Is it cynicism or desertion on ourselves ? Movie contains unforgettable moments like when we all Japanese learned ex-prime minister Shinzo Abe's shocking death and people's raw reactions. It is highlight of the latter part of the movie. I personally hope more theaters will play this movie nation wide or even international market but basically this is for us, people who are living and having voting right in Japan.

Skeleton Flower (2021)

Faint sensitive fragile but...

Me, Japanese myself needed to check the dictionary the word of "kasokeki sankayo" which is original Japanese title. It means "faint skeleton flower" showing the exact touch of this movie. Small white flower which could be easily see-though by little bit of vaper. Such sensitive little flower but yet beautiful and stand still. Movie is full of sensitive touch but it applies to all of us who once were fragile bur growing kids.

Death Row Family (2017)

One and only unique talent

I am not sure till now if i like this movie or not. But I can at least say, this is one and only extreme violent movie which full of gory scene that you can hardly watch straight but the same time sort of comical taste is never lost even in the middle of murder sequence. And I becomes to think the madness of real murder might be just exactly like this. Probably that is why i cannot say simply I hate this. Of course I do not want to kill anyone or even i do not like anyone to kill anyone. But if you want to know how does it feel without actually involved such incident, you may want to watch this.

Must watch and read the original

If you have chance to watch this movie, no matter what you must. And if you like it, you had better go looking ofor original manga book. I have been huge fan of original manga work but am still surprised the quality of this animation version. It was so true to original and yet what added has all tasty meanings. I found this masterpiece of animation as a rare case of triumph being transitioning media.

The movie has two attractions. One is viewing the Tokyo city, how did it look then. Interesting to watch streets, cars, people and its vital mood. Another is the biggest charm which is Actress Kumiko Akiyoshi. She is showing innocent and yet coquettish young girl at the same time. It is true eye candy.

Hana's Miso Soup (2015)

Strong message overcome

I hate lachrymator movie involves death of main carachter by sickness or accident. And yet some weird moments of overact of comedic attempt I have many reasons i could dislike this movie. However its strong message covers all negative factors and made worth to watch. Akai Hidekazu's role is small but quite effective. Everyone wishes to have one friend like him.
