Baby Reindeer (2024)

Incredible show I never wish to watch again.

Every now and again there comes along a show or movie that is so raw and heartbreaking it stops you in your tracks, baby reindeer is the first show in a very long time to do this too me. As you've probably heard now it's based on the main characters true life and no it is not just about a stalker. Although the show does an excellent job of creating the fear & dread that we associate with stalking there is also an underlying deeper sadness (you'll understand about half way through the series). Do I recommend watching the show? Absolutely if you can handle very dark subject matter. *ps, there should also be a trigger warning on episode 3, I know there is on 4 but warning for episode 3 especially for trans folk and the queer community.

I loved the show but it's one I will add to the never watch again.

The Sopranos (1999–2007)

Watching this for the first time in 2023

This came up as 'recommended' for me a few weeks ago and I'm so glad it did!! Obviously I don't live under a rock and have heard of The Sopranos before but being a young Aussie I didn't see how I would click with a show like this at all. Somehow it got me, I haven't finished yet but am about half way through and the more I watch the better it keeps getting. The storyline, acting, dialogue and chemistry between all the characters never misses and I am never bored. I could watch this show for days straight without loosing interest. I think it'll live on forever as one of the best shows ever made!! Tell me why in 2023 I am so intrigued my mob life in the Italian-American community ? Who knows but who cares! Long love the Sopranos.

Lighthearted fun!

Can I just say, why all the hate? God forbid a princess has it all! Yes the songs & acting wasn't the greatest thing ever watched but it had charm & made me smile through-out the whole film!
