Under the Skin (2022)

Heart warming and light crime drama

Because of Lost You Forever, i found Tan Jian Ci very loveable with great acting, overpowered the mainleads there. So i looked for his other dramas and tried this under the skin. Usually this is not my typical drama, but i found it very interesting, light and heart warming. I am so suprised and happy bc his acting was as great. He is totally different here. His interpretation of the characters in drama is very very good.

I love the other main lead too, also the brotherhood and friendship shown in this drama.

Just don't expect a complicated and intense drama, bc it is not. They had to solve different cases here, which make it interesting for me.

Definitely worth watching.

Many beautiful scenes, great story

The first cdrama i watch till end. I can bear to watch 39 eps because of this couple xiyao & xiangliu. They are so cute together. I always waited to get to their scenes. Their scene is romantic, toxid, funny and cute at the same time.

I really wish they give xiangliu more important screen time, dig more of his character. I do fall in love with xiangliu, the actor TanJianCi did a great job potraying him.

Every scenes of them are so beautiful. Xiang liu's movements whether under water, in the air or fighting, are so beautiful and perfectly executed. Later i found out tanJian Ci is a great dancer, no wonder.

I am heart broken when they are not together in s1.

Waiting for season 2, but felt heart broken alr reading synopsis out there. Please producers, please make a happy ending for xiang liu, otherwise i can't watch it.

Destined with You (2023)

Cute, funny, great casts

Watching this without high expectation since got nothing else to watch. Suprisingly got hooked on since eps 1. It is a refreshing, funny, cute romance drama. Unusual but very interesting. I am not a fan of Rowoon's acting before, but this one, he nailed it 100%. Jo Boah did well too, i love her character. All the actors are great. Nothing too cringe, all well executed. Well done writers and director.

Now i am on eps 6 and can't wait for the next one. It was that addictive 😁.

So many heart fluttering moments. And also so funny and cute that made me smile the whole entire episodes. So happy to find this drama. A must watch !

True to Love (2023)

Best romcom in 2023 so far

Watching this without any expectation since got none to watch. Suprisingly got hooked up since eps 1. The story is so relatable. The actresses and actors are amazing, especially Yoo In Na as Bora. She perfectly potrays her role, as if the part was made just for her.

The drama is lovely, fun. There are sadness in the beginning and sometimes embarrassing too but so relatable in life. Nothing is boring here, the story flows nicely.

I read the rating is low in Korea and i don't get it. But i guess international audiences likes it a lot, so it get good rating. A must watch if you are into romance comedy.

Alienoid (2022)

Entertaining and interesting movie

Watched this during a long flight. Suprisinglly entertaining and interesting movie. Good casts of actors and actresses. Very good action and cgi. The fights are all cool, high quality. Hopefully there will be a sequel. I am suprised with low rating in imbd n metacritic. I guess if i listened to those stupid reviews, i will missed a good movie. That is why i dont trust reviews bc we all have our own preferences .

This is a light movie which i loved. I don't need additional stress in my life. I love Ryu, Kim and Woo Bin here. Watching them in the same movie, pleases me. The ending is still unfinished, so i really hope for a sequel.

Nevertheless, (2021)

Should stay with the webtoon

The story is not bad, but they decided to change it from the original and made it ordinary. Both main leads failed in potraying their character and made most people despised their characters. It need talents to make a bad character likeable. The main leads still young and still have time for improvements though. They then focused on selling the main leads with the romance and sexual activities but failed, that is why the rating is so low.
