The Streets of San Francisco: Hot Dog (1976)
Season 5, Episode 9

One blemish
23 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
A must watch for Don Johnson fans or even if not. He makes the ep with his ease of acting. Mike is peeved in the secondary plot line with Don J dating Mikes daughter Jeannie which makes sense from Mikes point of view.

Trouble is that it clearly states in the story jeannie is 3 days away from returning to Arizona for school and after just two dates Mike warns her off the hotdog cop that is don j not to marry him and says if he asks her she is going to say yes. Ahh helloo two dates and lets talk marriage. Surely the writing couldve been tighter and made it bit more believable. Anyway rest of the ep is pretty good.

Bosch: Legacy (2022– )

Bosch 1.0
20 November 2023
I love the Bosch books and glad he rejoined the force...hopefully he'll do the same on the tv series. The detective Bosch has an excellent cast around him in Bosch legacy only when the old cast members join does it go up in class. I see many reviews where Maddie cops it (pun intended) for being a poor actor. I don't blame her so much but the producers for not giving her less screen time, a lot less. Her whole acting is based on having a look like someone farted. Hopefully the next series will see things return to normality. Someone should tell the producers to read these imdb comments as they will point them in the right direction.

Beam me up

The great William Shatner is a great guest star playing his role his usual Shatner way.

Mcgarret and crew work case with their usual high tensity to bring it all to a successful conclusion. The episode moves at a nice pace and keeps you engaged. Enjoy.

Not the worst
27 April 2022
Not the best but not the worst episode. Ken at least enjoyed himself but sadly doesn't improv and allow Will to play off him. Some better choices in picking co stars could take this show from average to good or better. The concept is excellent. Will is great but next time...if there is....choose wisely re co stars.

Sad
25 April 2022
Wow. That ep was terrible...I wonder what Annie said to her agent after that! She looked terrified and was unable to improv at all. Will was working hard to get her involved but she played it too straight and gave nods and one word answers. Maybe next time.

Great finish
24 April 2022
Loved season 1. So much of season 2 left me flat. Thankfully it finished with a last great episode. Jim Carrey has threatened to retire, please do not as he is truly a very talented artist.

Great

The cast. The writing. The best. Anyone who watches this ground breaking brilliantly written, casted and acted show and doesn't get hooked and love it is not a fan of great drama.

Ricardo v Diane
22 April 2022
Hawaii 5-0 loved to used the same actors in different roles. Some are are excellent, as in Ricardo....the same cannot be said for his co star...you can call it over acting or just plain bad. Either way an average episode that is hard pressed to keep one interested.

Poor actor
16 April 2022
Paul Resier is as good as Helen Hunt is poor. I wonder how good this show could've been if they didn't have an over actor in Hunt and less nitpicking on him by her in the script.

Bryan versus the kid
13 April 2022
So glad to read that so many others disliked this kid. He must have went to the same acting school as Maddy from Bosch. A sad pathetic, droopy faced mope. By end of ep 1 I wished he had been hit by the car. I would rate it less but Cranston is Walter White and he is the one who knocks.

Good fun movie
4 November 2001
I don't think there was another John Wayne movie that he strode around as mr Cowboy and yet never pulled his gun the whole time. Wonder what he thought when he read the script?

A real good family fun western movie that may change some people's idea on the Duke as a all short up type of guy.
