Sonic Unleashed (2008 Video Game)

Chalk another up for another great Sonic game!

This game contains a mix bag of Modern Sonic gameplay and a Sonic version of devil man cry dubbed the werehog gameplay. The day stages are incredibly fun, brings you right up in terms of immersion, even more than the Adventure games standards. And the Werehog is not incredibly fun unfortunately, I think it's a ok gimmick but nothing exciting. The story between Sonic and Chip restoring the pieces of the continents with the chaos emeralds and stopping dark Gaia is very very well thought out. It's light-hearted and very charming! The story doesn't feel anywhere near as dark and is a good version of Sonic Colors' story. The daytime stages are the best boost gameplay in all of the series and the Werehog just does its job well enough. The music is fantastic as usual and the graphics from this 2008 game still rival some of the best graphics in today's standards of 2021. This is a nigh perfect game and people should look at this game free of criticisms and make up their own thoughts of the game before judging way too early. This game is great.
