I just finished the second season and wow what an incredible ride.
The show really makes you feel emotion. It's like what the block buster jack Snyder types could only dream of. Except this show pulls it off exceptionally well. Yes the show has episodes in the first season that are uncomfortable and annoying but you have to put up with that to get such a raw, realistic and emotional show. People in real life are flawed. People in a kitchen are like a ticking time bomb. If it's too much for you fast forward through those scenes if needed because it's worth it to see this show to the end. The character arcs are incredible and not forced.
The second season started off boring but man was I glued to the TV the final half of the show. The Christmas episode was incredible in a sense of how intense and uncomfortable and real it was. This show is all about sucking you in emotionally and it's powerful.
Bring on season 3.
