Stick with it. It pays off

I just finished the second season and wow what an incredible ride.

The show really makes you feel emotion. It's like what the block buster jack Snyder types could only dream of. Except this show pulls it off exceptionally well. Yes the show has episodes in the first season that are uncomfortable and annoying but you have to put up with that to get such a raw, realistic and emotional show. People in real life are flawed. People in a kitchen are like a ticking time bomb. If it's too much for you fast forward through those scenes if needed because it's worth it to see this show to the end. The character arcs are incredible and not forced.

The second season started off boring but man was I glued to the TV the final half of the show. The Christmas episode was incredible in a sense of how intense and uncomfortable and real it was. This show is all about sucking you in emotionally and it's powerful.

Bring on season 3.

The Bridgerton Witcher

Writer's egos killed this show. You have great source material and an incredible lead actor to work with. You have the easiest job in the entire world and you somehow screw it up.

Just make the show about Geralt, period. It's that simple, you don't need complex confusing storylines. You just need one character, Geralt. I would gladly watch The Witcher if it was just Geralt and Roach riding around in the swamp killing monsters for 10 seasons.

Good job Netflix, way to screw up another easy show that you could have made for years while making a lot of money. Keep it up and you will no longer have a platform.

Don't give up on the show

The first few episodes are pretty sad and depressing. This show isn't a mindless comedy but is actually pretty deep and intelligent after watching it through.

I started to realize this was a good show around episode 6 or so. I'm glad I didn't give up on it and kept with it.

The comedy it does have is subtle and often dark. It's not written like a traditional comedy but you can find humor in situations and characters.

You start to like Jeff more as the show goes on and his character develops from a pathetic depressed man to somewhat endearing and good guy. We can all feel helpless and worthless at our lowest times and as each episode goes by it shows how we can overcome that and build confidence.

Lastly, in the first couple episodes a lot of the corporate guys just seem like obnoxious assholes but as you get to know their characters even they become likable by the end. I feel like out of everything this show did the best with character building because they are all unique and memorable. Look forward to more episodes and hopefully a sequel.

How is this 6.0?

This is a weirdo liberal arts major's wet dream. Waste of time. Not artistic, not intelligent, just bad. How in the world do people think this is a good movie or though provoking.

I was expecting a twist, something witty or though provoking to happen. It just never did.

I think it is ironic that the intro talks about car crashes and this movie is an unending car accident. I literally can't think of anything else to say about this movie but need to leave a review to warn people not to waste their time on this garbage. I really wanted to like the movie. It would have been much better if they all just died in the toxic cloud, the end.

What were they thinking ?

This show seems like it was written by high school kids. I got 2 episodes in before I had to turn it off. It's just so damn bad and cringey. It seems like it's target audience is 12 year old kids in Oregon.
