So first off, I was able to catch an early screening in Pierce County and went in with somewhat lukewarm expectations. With the cast, director, writer, and budget on board I felt it could be good but I had a lot more fun than anticipated. Opening scene was one of the more intense and crazy. (I'm a fan of the 2nd). Very much improved visual effects here. The 3D was executed better than the 4th as well. Character wise it was obvious they did better casting (Nicholas, Tony, Emma). I truly wanted some of these randoms to live. Deaths here are top notch, very blunt and very cringe worthy. This movie truly did improve on all aspects that the 3rd and 4th lacked...a creepy realistic feel. A few new aspects are thrown in as well which help keep the story fresh and not feel repetitive. If you are ready for this 3D roller-coaster then go see this well made guilty pleasure.

Okay, lets get started, so. i came to the movie, never had read any of the books with no intention to. As i am an average teenager who only reads books assigned in English class. But for me, these movies are enjoyable. For most, and myself, whether they end up corny, i always feel i have to see the next one. This movie left me disappointed in areas, and Loving it in others. i couldn't decide which. For reasons i didn't like it, the movie didn't have to much detail to it. Like, in the other movies, there is just MORE to it, like quiditch matches, and all that stuff. This was to plain. and yet it was a good length of a movie, it seemed to only go on like an hour and 15 min. I did find that they didn't ad as much to Ron as usual, which for me, was GREAT. I am not a fan of his character, or the actor. Another plus was when i met in the movie.....Luna. Her character was almost perfection for me. She Made the movie for me. Her voice, wondorous acting, the look, and the personality. What does make me mad is that the connection between her and harry will not last. =[ Though it was perfect for this movie for her to be in it do to all his anger junk. I give this movie an 8.

This has to be one of the best horror/action movies I've seen in a while. It was somewhat original, with everything a horror movie needs plus, a great story line and great actors. Yet the most affective tool they used was reality. The only part i found hard to believe was the helicopter scene. I found that this movie wanted the viewers to feel that this could happen and that is the scary thing. They wanted you to be afraid that this could happen any day to anyone. Unlike other zmbie movies like undead, resident evil, this one had a different approach. I gave it props for giving me everything i want in a movie. I like these zombie movies because, yes they have gore, but do not try to have the big breasted teen girls and the killer in a mask type deal. It is much, much worse. I give this 10 stars, it is a movie all people above 13 should see...

So, i truly think this movie is basically amazing. It was never in the minds of the creators, to be an award winning drama peace of sjunk. Its supposed to be funny. U cant have an acadamy award winning movie be an actually sit down luaph-a-thon. U cant. If u truly were expecting a moving motion picture than ur just stupid. This was nothing more than to be really really funny. So stop complaining about how bad it is cause it truly was a gooooood movie. Its not like those movies that u chuckle at here and there. This was a "i want to pee my pants" movie and u shouldn't see a movie poster like this one and want a good story and all the works. Even though it did have one. So, i think it was one of eddies best and was him. Thats y i liked it...

Well, this movie started exactly where category six left off as we all know. I do think that category 6 had a more enjoyable story, but thats not what people watch these movies for, unless they really don't know a thing when it comes to these kind of movies. These movies are meant for pure, twisted entertainment, and i think Category 7 gives it all to u. I think about every person has fealt like they had to watch a "disaster" movie for a weird reason. People are just drawn to them.
The fact is...don't look into his for an award winning drama. Cause your not gonna get one. This is A special FX extravaganza. or watever. I have to say with the 15 million dollar, they exceeded ALL my expectations. Better FX than much of the movies I've seen on the big screen. So, be a little better judge for this movie. 1 star is not the type to give to a disaster movie, and then go around and talk about how lame the script was, cause you should know what ur up for. I personally thought it was good, thats just me.
The people behind the scenes, the ones that worked for days on end, deserve all the praise. The Emmy nominated sound crew, and the well deserved people behind the special FX did unbelievably good. I say give this movie a chance if your up for seeing the eiffel tower fall and much much more.
