I don't quite understand why the rating of this movie is so low.

Julia Montes showed she deserves to be called an actress, Alden Richards proved once again that his acting skills may look bare minimum and that he's more than just his looks until he's heavily involved in dramatic scenes like those in this movie.

The movie made so much sense, it was realistic and at the same time I love how it didn't become too predictable.

The Covid sentiment in this hits close to many people's hearts and the cinematography felt so professionally done.

It's not perfect but it definitely deserves as much attention as Alden's 'Hello, Love, Goodbye'.

Typically, Filipino TV shows/Movies always had the same plot. Third parties, sexual nature, mediocre storylines and many more.

THIS, however, is such a refreshing sight! The female lead is realistic, not too glamorous looking for a Chef role as it should.

You can feel the emotions from the characters involved. Soundtrack was beautiful. Cinematography felt high class, not your typical Filipino low budget films.

I hope this paves the way for BETTER Filipino movies.

I just wish Netflix could translate some phrases better.

Other than that, this show will take you on a ride. You may tear/sob, or laugh + drool with the showcase of Filipino cuisine!!
