Well I wasn't expecting that
20 July 2022
This drama was a complete shocker for me. I had low expectations because I had started the first episode multiple times and didn't know if I would really get into the series but after episode two it was steadily got better.

It really took off though after episode six. Pretty much hold on to your tissue boxes for dear like while getting through episodes 7-10. They were just heartbreaking.

This was a pleasant surprise and I would highly recommend this series any day.

Yeah.... No on that quote there.

This got a lower score cause it had a line said from Two to Earth's character at the fair that did not sit well with me. It really tainted the episode for me.

Finally
30 June 2022
I finally finished it you guys!!! It's been a long time coming. I have been watching this series for so long and finally I can mark it off as finished.

Unfortunately I didn't care for the series that much because I really did not enjoy a lot of the problematic areas that were shown in the series. On top of those elements, the overall plot was just not that interesting and the pacing was really slow. There are definitely better BLs out there that can occupy your time however if you do need something to watch between the greats then you can throw this one on to fill in the void.

For those who loved the series, I'm so glad that you did. This is definitely one of those moments where it's definitely a matter of personal preference and this one was just not for me.

So Good
14 June 2022
So I left this in my review on episode 10 but essentially this series is fantastic. It is beautifully shot, it's gorgeously acted, where there is music (depending on where you watch this) it is good. You will not suffer through this. It is such a good feel good romance that is well worth a rewatch at least once a year. I can't sing this series anymore praises. If you wanted to watch the 2020 movie I would say skip it and just go straight to this because it is fantastic.

A shout for the great job by the cast and crew.

Beautiful
14 June 2022
I really don't know how this series has a 6.8 rating on IMDb at this current time because it is absolutely beautiful. Just incredible. I literally was crying at the end of this episode it was so well done. The actors literally killed their performances. It was way better than the 2020 movie that is for sure. I'd rewatch this in a heartbeat.

Incredible
29 May 2022
I have tried to read this series after the first bind up was released however I could not get into it. I think I was a combination of the drawing style and my mood so when I heard that there was going to be a Netflix adaptation I wasn't really interested.

It was only after seeing a bunch of people literally cry about how good it was that I said let me give this a go.

Those guys were right.

This show is incredible and the soundtrack is absolute fire. I've downloaded the whole OST from Apple Music. I would watch this again from the beginning in a actual heartbeat. It's sooooooooooooo good.

Charlie and Nick are incredible characters and the actors who play them have done a fantastic job.

Standing ovation 👏🏾

I can not wait for the next season.

It's for someone.....
18 May 2022
I just literally finished the last episode a few seconds ago and I couldn't be happier. This show is for somebody but its definitely not me.

Stylistically it is shot beautifully however the dead air in both dialogue and music left you wanting so much throughout the show. Coupled with the lacklustre storyline that couldn't be held through the entire 12 episodes, there was just not enough elements to support this series for the length that it ran for. I think if it had been shorter it could've been better however a week plot is tough to support no matter what length of runtime.

I've definitely found that I've not had the greatest luck with sports related BL dramas this year. Maybe it's just a lot of bad luck or this sub genre is not my thing. Definitely give it a try but don't be expecting huge romantic overtures, great music, or a life altering storyline because you're not getting any of that.

This is definitely a slice of ACTUAL life in all it's mundane nuances and if you're into that then this might be your cup of tea.

Good luck.

It had potential
27 March 2022
It's sad to say that this actually could've been way better but it failed itself by throwing in a last-minute conflict and trying to resolve it in under four minutes.

I was going to give this a 7 out of 10 but that ending was way too messy and so it lost a star. It's too bad because the story was progressing well then all of a sudden they threw in this tiff that cheapened the relationship of our leads and ruined the whole feel of the series.

What a bad way to go out.

SMH.

This is a work of art
23 March 2022
This series has done so much for the BL genre that calling it a masterpiece is the only way to describe it. From the storyline to the incredible soundtrack this series has it all. There is action, romance and a serious plot that keeps you interested and guessing all the way to the end.

The biggest highlight of the series for me was getting to watch Gun give an Oscar worthy performance as Black and White. This dude acted the hell out of these characters and deserves a standing ovation because you could have sworn he legitimately had a twin. Incredible work.

If your still reading this review than you're already behind the times cause you needed to have already started it.

Have fun 😁

It's okay
23 March 2022
This was a good bit of fun but don't expect a masterpiece. The acting way over the top but that's what also made it hilarious because it was like watching a live action anime. I also loved the voice of the actor who played Izumi. He sounds like he walk out of an anime for real. The plot was super simple and moved at lightning speed so character growth is barely there but like I said, this is for the otakus and it's rife with fan service. I had a lot of good laughs so I say give it a try.

Way better than I thought
13 March 2022
I gave the first two episodes lower scores because I couldn't really feel the plot or the characters that well. Upon doing a rewatching of those two episodes and then finally continuing on, I've come to understand it better and grew to enjoy the character development of Sangwoo specifically. I really enjoy this series and would rewatching this in a heartbeat.

Nothing to write home about.
27 February 2022
This was hard to rate because it did keep me interested but I wouldn't come back to this and rewatching it voluntarily UNLESS there was nothing else to watch.

At the end of the day if you don't have high expectations, you'll enjoy this for the easy waste of time that it is. I will say my biggest irk is the ending scene. It's so random and there is no speaking and it just ends and it killed me. I was going to rate that episode a 6 but I couldn't drop the rating for the one episode based on the last 2 mins.

Either way your not missing much if you skip this mini series.

Masterpiece
17 February 2022
I am listening to the credits of the last episode while writing this and I can't put into words how incredible this show was. It's tragic and soooooooo beautiful.

This had been recommended to me multiple time and it shows up in my IMDb lists as well and I never gave it a single thought. I barely read the synopsis but as soon as I saw reincarnation, I was done because I hate BL's like History 1 Hero. I am so glad I decided to give this a try but be forewarned of trigger warnings. The first episode is super heavy. I did not know that going in and was shocked how dark it was.

Honestly this was a work of art and if my soul could manage it, I'd watch it again.

Bravo *standing ovation*

SMH THIS WAS AWESOME
6 February 2022
I literally finished the last episode 10 mins ago.

This is the best asian drama I've ever watched.

The story, the writing, the music, the action, the SUITS (bows down to costume design team and stylists) and of course the love story were all perfection. Perfectly bittersweet in true Korean Drama fashion but totally fit the bill this time around.

The two most compelling characters in this whole series is Vincenzo and Jang Han Seok. Those two .....

SMH

I'll take a line right from the show:

" So far, we've been like vigilantes. But after this, we'll be monsters."

These two are some of my favourite villains of all time. The are so good and both these actors played their roles to actual perfection.

I can't say enough good things about this show and I am going to be rewatching it again before the end of the year.

*Standing Ovation*

This is gold *smirk*

Watch the show to get the reference.

Have fun.

Trash
29 December 2021
This series is just trash. There is barely any plot. There is a million and one characters but none of them are memorable. The only characters that have anything going on is Pete and Kao and honestly you can watch the edit of all their scenes via YouTube so you don't have to sit through 14 episodes of actual drivel. The edit cut of Pete and Kao's scenes was more enjoyable then the first 4 episodes of this series. I'm watching Dark Blue Kiss now and I am really enjoying. If your here for the Pete and Kao storyline watch the edit cut on YouTube and head over to Dark Blue Kiss afterwards. You will be thanking me later.

Great Fight Scene
18 October 2021
I love the fight scene between Jones and Michael. It's my fave and I've re watched it multiple time. The beginning was a little slow but not enough to detract me from watching it through multiple times.

The ending is sooooooooo good though and was a great cliffhanger to the season finale. Jones is ruthless and I love it.

Fantastic
18 October 2021
There was a lot of emotion working in this episode and a lot of people having to overcome fears and insecurities. The tender moments were incredibly sweet and the one between Michael and Alec nearly broke my heart. It was so heartfelt that I've rematched the scene three times. They are the best couple followed by Max and Liz.

As for everyone else, I'm glad everyone is going to be moving on though I really do feel for Kyle cause he is always getting the short stick. I almost feel like the writers took his story arc from when the actor played Tyler in Vampire Diaries. He got the short stick in that show too with Caroline. I hope he gets his own happily ever after in season 4.

Lastly the ending.

That ending. *shock*

I can't wait for season 4.

WHY WAS THIS MUSICAL SO GOOD?!?!?!??!

Like I was seriously expecting this episode to be complete crap. The music is great Josie, Jed and Kaleb make a great Elena, Stefan and Damon respectively.

Holy Hell

I'd watch this musical live if they ever decided to tour with it.

This was soooooooooooo good.

30 August 2021
This is the best episode of the series to date. I love that Kai is back. This dude is nuts and Chris Wood plays him so well. I would have loved all the episodes so far to feel like this. It feels like I'm watching The Vampire Diaries again. The only thing that would have been better would have been to have Bonnie show up. Then I would have given this 11/10.

Honestly this felt like I was watching an episode of Power Rangers minus the mecha. Now I love Power Rangers so that's why it's wasn't too weird to me but I understand how in The Vampire Diaries universe this is complete left field.

SMH

This was a beautiful and tragic ending.

I don't even have words......

It'll probably be a couple of years before I rewards this series cause I can't handle the emotional rollercoaster. Plus it'll be hard to when this ending is one that will stick in my memory for a while. I was soooo moved....

I remember hearing that this series was better than The Vampire Diaries and it totally is. The story plots were more complex, the atmosphere was incredible but most importantly the characters were complex and incredibly grey. I loved all the characters but my favourite was Elijah. He is one of the most complex characters I've ever seen on tv and Daniel Gillies played the hell out of that character. Bravo.

*Slow Clap*

*Standing ovation *

I might need to take a break before jumping into Legacies.

This show was so worth my time. Fantastic.

27 August 2021
I've been on a marathon through The Vampire Diaries and The Originals so I can fully appreciate Legacies when I start it. In the 171 episodes of The Vampire Diaries and the 79 episodes of The Originals I've see so far I've NEVER watched an episode that literally had me bawling my eyes out like this one.

It was perfection.

The scene with Elijah...........

I'm crying writing this review.

I've been touched by very few shows to this extent and I will forever remember this episode.

Just...... Wow
