Unappreciated Classic

These guys are great, from the records to the live shows to their movies. This movie has some great scenes, the scene's with Pee Wee and Timothy Leary. The look of the film dates it perfectly. I've liked this movie since the first time I saw it 10 years ago. Everyone I know loves Cheech and Chong. 2 THUMBS UP ^^

River's Edge (1986)

Exceptional Movie

This is perhaps the most underappreciated movie of all time. The film looks crude and the scenes sometimes become obscure, but the fact that this thrilling drama is based on a real event makes up for all of the above. Keanu reeves, Crispin Glover,Dennis Hopper,are just a few of the big players in this 80's cult hit. The characters are lifelike and vivid, even as dettached youth,they still have multifacited emotions. I saw this movie first, when I was 12 years old. I was affected by this movie instantly, and I did not even find out this was based on a true story until 4 months ago. After reviewing the movie 11 years later I can see why I was affected the way I was. The situations in this movie evoke a deep reaction from the soul, first amazement at how calous Tollett can be with regard to the murder. And suprise at how the other characters lack any emotion for the friend that they lost.The look of the movie and the music go very well together as a haunting partnership. In short no matter what kind of film you are into, do yourself a favor and give this movie a try, you might be suprised by the result.

Great Inteligent film !

This movie caught my attention right away. If you are an individual that likes to be challenged to think when you watch a movie, instead of having your movie spoon-fed to you,you'll love this movie. I have seen other reviews of this movie that claim it's boring, they must have been preoccupied. This movie asks you to try and figure out the case on your own. It is very well directed and the acting looks very natural. An immediate classic as far as I'am concerned, do yourself a favor and view this movie!!
