I liked this movie over all, but I felt like there were some missed opportunities here. The movie was good, but it had the opportunity to be great. The first trap was incredible, but the rest didn't didn't hold up to the intensity and gruesomeness of the first one. I appreciate that this movie focused more on story than other films in the franchise, but the flash backs were super cheesy and lazy story telling IMO. I had a hard time taking Chris Rock seriously at first but he grew on me. Most of the performances were solid. Ultimately It was a really fun movie with a great twist, and the ending left me wanting more. I hope to see more from this director in this franchise!

Ugh what a missed opportunity. This movie could have been good but seems as though they shot a first draft of the script. The first act is pretty solid, and then it all falls apart as there are lot of half baked ideas that could of been strong but we never see them through. I am surprised at the multitude of 'bad acting' reviews, as I actually thought everyone did well with the exception of a few minor performances. The ending is abrupt and extremely unsatisfying. So much set up for nothing. I think this had the potential to be great but this script was not ready to shoot in my opinion. There is also a lot of odd shots that are very confusing, and you can't really tell what is happening. 3/10 for me.

10/10 across the board here! The casting was diverse and spot on...performances were great.. the dialogue is not just natural but also extremely witty.. and of corse Vince Vaughn is absolutely amazing! I was surprised at first to see him taking on a role like this, but he was perfect. I watched this one multiple times! The best horror comedy I have seen in years!

Done to death, but decent!

For the most part, I was ok with this done to death survival story. These movies are usually incredibly predictable, and often a bit of a bore to me as I know exactly what is going to happen. it doesn't help that trailer gave most of the movie away. I did however enjoy the atmosphere of the film. It's shot incredibly well and the performances are solid. Marc Menchaka is always great. He was terrifying and definitely made the most of his part. Over all, the film was pretty effective as the leading lady's fight for survival does have some twists and turns which was refreshing. 6 stars from me!

This was obviously a very low budget film, but ultimately I was impressed with what Damien Leone was able to pull off. David Howard Thorton does such an exceptional job at playing Art the Clown. He has you captivated every single move he makes. The kills (One in particular... you all know what I am talking about) were extremely memorable, and I can't wait to see more from the Terrifier gang!!

While most Lifetime movies are pretty hard to watch..I found myself actually really enjoying this one and liked that the movie didn't feel rushed. The cast was pretty good. Gigi Guston seems to be the most natural of the main cast despite her character Jess's redundant dialogue. She made the most of her part. I was also impressed by Meredith Thomas as she steals the show on this one!!! Please put these ladies in bigger movies!!
