Wagon Train: The Jim Bridger Story (1961)
Not well thought out!
The most glaring problem with this episode is why in the world did they need to take the women and children? How can taking the entire train back all those miles, make any sense?? I say leave them in the safe country where this episode started with the older ( feeble ones or a few able bodied men) take the train ( the show of force That the General wants) rescue the soldiers get back to the women and children and have another square dance and celebrate!
If I recall Flint grew up on a southern plantation in Virginia but in this episode he is raised by Bridger.. I guess in the days before cable when we only saw 1episode every week instead of one every day.
Hazel: Who's in Charge Here? (1965)
Goof
When Steve states that he has known Hazel practically all his life when in fact she was Dorothy's maid that came in to the Baxter's household.
