First off, the summary of what I think. Poorly written, unrealistic, and if you have watched and loved star wars the clone wars and the original trilogy then this tv series is not worth it. It does not make sense and does not connect to the other movies in any other way and has a ton of plot holes.
Now for the details. My problem with this TV-series is revolved around two of our most beloved characters; Obi Wan and Princess Leia whom in this series is a ten-year-old. I absolutely hate how they made Obi Wan a useless old man and is not confident, always seems to be grumpy (Like some other Star Wars movie that had Luke Skywalker in it *cough cough. "The Last Jedi"). I was expecting he at least has his sense of humor and his clever tricks. He's supposed to already be wise. Sure he regrets what Anakin had become but COME ON!!! It has been 10 freaking years! At least start with him finally getting over it.
Next is 10-year-old princess Leia. We all know her in the original trilogy to be fearless, strong, willing to get her hands dirty, a leader, and beautiful. What Disney did was copy and paste but made her younger and a bit of a spoiled brat. It is almost like she was always this kind of perfect. Why not a Leia that is more vulnerable, scared, but also curious of the world beyond her own? And Kenobi would be her role model in the series, her REASON to become a rebel leader and a senator in "A New Hope".
At last, the action of this film was not bad, but even the last season of star wars the clone wars did better. Yes, it's an animation, they can do more. But the lightsaber battles were epic! Clone Wars directors and casts choreographed the battles in person then animated it! This TV-Series is a huge let down to what the Mandalorian and Boba Fett offered. I just hope the next few series are not the same as this.
