Free Lunch Express (2020)
Belongs in short skits
If you know anything about Bernie, this would be funny in small bits, because it's as good as an explanation as any for Bernie's behavior. But it's probably not meant to be an entire film. Small skits would have been more enjoyable. Otherwise, I chuckled here and there. The rabid fans of Bernie are obviously upset with movie because it highlights what Bernie really is. That being said, maybe he didn't throw the election for money... The first time. Obviously based on his reaction he was pushed out the first time by Hillary. The second time was likely for money.
Hey, don't hate the player, hate the suckers 😉
Die Hart (2020)
Not much to say.
Didn't hate, but didn't love. To talk about the twist that occur would give away serious spoilers with no real opinion one way or the other on them.
My only real gripe is this continued nonsense about how few women action stars there are. When Jordan King's character says there's like 3 female action stars, I get she was exaggerating to emphasize a point, but Kevin Hart's character couldn't name more than 3 while I, not even a huge movie fan, could name considerably more.
Seriously, how are you people doing women any justice by pretending they don't exist for political points? It's sick.
This site has a list called "The Top 1200 Female Action Stars."
Mr. Mayor (2021)
So far, not great, but not bad.
If you watch a show about a Mayor of L.A. and are surprised or mad about left wing politics, you're probably a goober.
So be aware that yes, there will be left wing ideas, so now you shouldn't be surprised, and thus, would be silly to be mad.
So far from 2 episodes I've learnt this; it's pretty slow but has some pretty funny moments.
Also, watch everything Arpi Meskimen does. She seems to be a little crafty in her schemes.
If the show doesn't pick up, I'd honestly be surprised if it didn't get cancelled before we got 13 episodes.
So frankly, I'd be really surprised if it made it to a 2nd season.
