Ride the wave!
16 September 2022
Excellent episode! Story is branching out in many directions with great characters. Setting up for interesting directions for the second half of season one and into future seasons. Direction of the last two episodes was fantastic, enjoyed all of it but now understand the world and how it impacts the current story. In terms of fantasy, it is as epic as possible while still giving intense interaction between characters with great dialogue and building the world from the point of view of some groups but mainly individuals. Well done! Looking forward to where it goes, certainly worth a re-watch or two.

Excellent finale

Many new fans will be wondering about all the events during tEotW, which is exactly how book readers felt during the first novel! This was an excellent adaptation of the first concluding story line. Many cliffhangers for S2! The emotions old fans of the series felt has damaged their opinions, hard to handle lots of emotions but over time true fans who want to bring this epic world to new audiences will begin to realize how important and excellent this episode was for A beginning of The Wheel of Time.

In only 7 episodes Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time is beginning

And what a beginning! The first 4 minutes of the show are revolutionary leaving book fans in tears and new fans intrigued. The episode is true to the vision of how this adaptation was presented, a true vision of the series built on the foundation of the books. It is clear that the writers have a clear path to bring the full story to the screen. As a longtime fan, this was the greatest hour. No question this series has the heart and spine intact. Wow.

SHADOW is waiting... and spooky good episode!

Damn, it turns into even more horror-theme elements and turns into one of the best looks at a journey episode in the early epic adventure. Whitecloaks are introduced and they show just HOW dangerous the world is and not just the literal monsters. Great movement towards larger storylines! Love it.

Starts off with a bang!

Have to dive right in and get the story rolling. The village is introduced and the strangers arrive. Soon we have the beginning of what will be a long an exciting journey. As a very long time book fan, this is exactly what is needed and will set up even more down the road. Love this show! Rand and Egwene are so good, and Rosamund Pike hits it out of the park!

So detailed and laying character traits while leading towards some amazing storylines! This is an excellent episode. As the focus continues with the Two Rivers being left further and further behind. Really enjoyed every second and we get introduced to new fun groups!

E1 and E2 are incredible!

Can't wait to see the rest of the season!!! The characterization of the main cast will build towards many storylines that will be important to the ongoing arc of Robert Jordan's fantastic world. The Wheel of Time is fantastic in production and writing, with enough changes to the books to welcome old fans to the mystery! Powerful performances by the young cast - Josha Stradowski and Madeleine Madden especially - and the gravitas of Rosamund Pike as the lead with her trusty companion Daniel Henney was also a standout. Looking forward to more episodes and seasons!
