A great advert for why you shouldn't wear Adidas
2 February 2023
A tiresome and disappointing film. It felt like an inappropriate kids film and a failed advert for Adidas. I was unable to find any warmth towards any of the characters and the story line left me cold to the point where I virtually ignored the last half hour in favour of a button bashing game on my phone.

Filled with clichés and somehow lacking any suspense, it's a couple of hours that I won't get back, but very much wish I could. I wish I'd checked reviews before sitting down to watch this film. I'm not sure which demographic they hoped to appeal to, but from other reviews, it looks like they failed to gel with any particular group.

Jonah Hill is the problem here.
31 January 2023
I have enjoyed a few films featuring Jonah Hill so I thought I'd give this a go. I no longer like Jonah Hill. His appearance has become tiresome and clichéd and this film follows who he has become. Possibly the most awful soundtrack of any film I've tried to watch, with no real story line. I've now tried to watch the film twice and now understand why I fell asleep the first time. 20 minutes in attempt number 2 and I can handle no more so I'm giving up in the hope Amazon Prime can deliver something with fewer (bad) tattoos and an engaging story line. Sorry Jonah, you shouldn't have tried to grow up, and all those tattoos are a big mistake.

Why do they police willingly look so stupid?
1 December 2022
I struggle to understand why the police willingly feature in a show which so clearly highlights their stupidity. If this is supposed to highlight the creme of their ability, they are sadly mistaken and should be ashamed. It's no wonder that people no longer have any respect for what was once the police force but has be relegated to being there police service. These shows should be withdrawn from television and order should be restored. Further, our illiterate and feeble supposed public protectors need to have their power restored and their embarrassing lack of ability to serve and protect to be reversed. When I watch this show, for some reason I want the criminals to escape, even though I know they only really show their few and far between successes.

Awful, woke trash
27 August 2022
She's only risen to fame because she's disabled and people seem to like that at the moment. She's not funny, is incapable of comic timing and she makes me cringe with everything she says and does.

Celebration of things and people that are broken in some way is reversing evolution and dumbing down TV. It's no wonder that IQ's have been dropping year on year since the mid seventies.

Watching people try to do things that they are incapable of is not my idea of entertainment. Rosie Jones needs to know and respect her limits.

This series provides yet another reason to avoid broadcast television, especially channel 4.

More Netflix trash TV
29 June 2022
Filmed for an American audience, in England with the most cringeworthy redneck hosts. I really tried to enjoy this show, the premise had promise but the reality is a disgusting display of overly Americanised dross that has been honed to appeal to the uneducated underclasses. Sadly fitting the standard Netflix formula, however it does reinforce why real TV is still there and relevant. It does however raise concern for the new generation... Not because of what is on screen, but more because this may be what they are watching on screen.
