This really really feels like they wanted to make an auteur film. They wanted to make ya think wanted to keep you guessing wanted to put in deeper meaning. Then they made it and forgot all of that and said here's a bunch of disjointed poorly interconnected shots we attempted to tell a story with. I think the most egregious part of this film is just how boring it is there is no interesting character or premise it seems like a jumbled mess that they needed to reach an hour twenty for feature length run time. I cannot recmmondend anything else then watching this, it is not even close to the so bad its good.

If this was a short film it could've been better , there was a few times where you weren't sure if the mom was crazy or an alcoholic and doing stuff herself ,they should've stuck with that theme of unsure / biased point of view where you doubt the central figure .

This is definitely a film, It gets 2 stars because it was nice to finally be back in a theatre if I didn't pay money for it I probably would've left the theatre . The back story was awful , just so stupid and so over explained like 20% of the film is a flashback just to try to make you feel something for Cena and Diesel's relationship. The fight choreography is absolutely non-existent , the scene where they go looking for Han is especially bad. THE CG IS AWFUL , there is a shot where every single tree is the same , facing the same direction even just a single reused asset with 0 effort to hide it. Also this film tries very hard to be every other popular genre. Also what is up with all the references to other stuff "hey here's a pop culture reference " is never interesting. It gets the last star because for some reason Diesel keeps poking peoples chest like E. T and saying ill be here and that was kind of funny because I feel it was not intentional. Anyway , for a film of this magnitude there was very little that was enjoyable and the ridiculous space stuff might have been the most fun segment of this entire film. 3/10 watch ONLY if you live in a country with legalized weed.
